Good Morning LNYDP Magnificent fanlets! What a week we have had here in LNYDP Mews Headquarters! First the good news.....A new dog friendly coffee shop/pinball lounge has opened up directly opposite us, selling Crodoughs! I know right ~AMAZING!! The bad news, the building works also opposite us are a nightmare! I am half deaf and it's loud!! When you call us here at LNYDP Mews headquarters, remember to speak loudly lol!

Magical Horse

This week LNYDP stalwarts, myself and Lizzie Bone headed to see a giant smoke breathing horse, as you do!!! In fact the horse was TRULY incredible and we are hoping to resurrect the horse for this years LNYDP 2016! In doing so we have to say a massive thank you to Cllr.Gilli Lewis-Lavender who has lovingly looked after this magnificent beast since its last outing! Look out for the giant smoke breathing horsey this year peeps! It will be incredible, trust me, up close it is massive!!

Mens Meeting

Well this was a most interesting picture! Our  LNYDP hero and leader leads us in every aspect of life! In fact having had a full makeover in the Men's downstairs bathroom, we were all invited or more accurately, instructed to watch how everything works and operates so that we do not break it in the future! We have some rather hi tech stuff in there and frankly we all look rather baffled, not least Nick Kidd!! lol!!

Doughnut Time

Kate and I had a rather rare and beautiful day off together this week and so we did what every one does right and went in hunt for the best doughnut London has to offer and boy oh boy did we find it! Seriously now, I think of myself as rather a doughnut connoisseur and well these doughnuts blew my mind and any other doughnuts I have ever had away!! 

They may not have been the traditional English doughnut with Jam or Jelly inside but they were the real deal, like eating sugary air!!! Bites of heaven in your mouth frankly! If you ask nicely I will tell you where to get them from, but I am not going to share the secret easily lol!! Clue - Its in Portobello! 

Kate does not even like doughnuts...That is how good these were!!

Tough one this week! I have been listening to some rather eclectic stuff so this is a hard call!! I think I will have to go for a couple of young Brits who are truly incredible! I have had the pleasure of seeing them live and well they blew me away and charisma wise are up there with Robbie Williams at Knebworth!

Store Preparations

Well this week we decided to have a little store hunt and check on space! Suffice to say we need more storage lol!! A whole 5,000 square foot is clearly not enough haha!! Anyway we decided to take Alfie the LNYDP mascot and it was beyond entertaining! Firstly he ran around the entire store, fortunately not barking and he then proceeded to attack the Alfie Puppies, taking a special liking to the one pictured below! He certainly knows how to get a free toy lol! In fact as I type, he is chewing his puppy next to my chair! A rather fun hour or two out the office with our leader and hero and the lovely Lizzie Bone!! Alfie was certainly great entertainment for a rather mundane job lol! x

Is It a REAL Dinosaur!!!

Now this section actually gets me a little hot under the collar its so darn exciting folks! Oh yeahhh!! This year we may well have Dinosaurs and Dragons in the Parade! But these are no ordinary Dinosaurs and Dragons, no no no!! These are actual Jurassic Park Dinosaurs....I kid you not! The ones that made you hide behind your sofa, I know you did lol!!  The company that provides (builds) the Dinosaurs (Only Dinosaurs) is keen on partnering LNYDP 2016 and would like to make a bespoke T-Rex and Mystical Dragon to be in the Parade!! Literally I can not contain my excitement, this is like my dream from when I was a kid! Check out the pictures below! I genuinely think they might be real!! What do you guys think? Legendary right??? Hopefully you will see them Dinosauring around on the streets of London come January 1st!!

Joe, Kate and Alfie's Trip to the Fun Fair

Ok, so not strictly LNYDP related, but this week, Kate , myself and Alfie headed to the Fun Fair in Chiswick and how much fun did we have....LOADS!!! Seriously I can not remember the last time I had candy  floss and rode the dodgems! Noty only that but they let us take Alfie on the Ghost Train and he loved it!! He nearly jumped out his seat at one of the dangling skeletons lol!! Sooo much fun!! I have to say though, the award for top dodgem driver has to go to Kate who was far superior to me and the other 10 year old kids driving them lol!! Yes we were the oldest people on them haha!!!!

1st Up - Very Magical!

This week we have had some fascinating goings on! Seriously, I am starting to think that there really is Magic in the air! This week we were contacted by the incredible ..... afraid I am not allowed to tell you who lol, but I can give you a cheeky LNYDP clue....the Magic man recently did a commercial for Tim Hortons, wink wink!!  This basically leads me to conclude, that LNYDP this year is truly not one to be missed with all the incredible acts we have. I am also delighted to announce that I am the new Director Of Event Participation, cue mad clapping lol!! So I am seriously loving my job at the moment! I mean who doesn't dream about going into work to help design giant balloons, talk to TV magicians, arrange for Smoke breathing Magical Horses and liaise with celebrity TV presenters.....Me and Alf know we have it pretty great right now, just hope I can do all you magnificent LNYDP fans proud!

So this week our very own LNYDP Mascot, the incredible, talented and handsome Alfie got his very first baseball cap! I am afraid it was not an LNYDP cap but it was still pretty cool and well he got a lot of attention up and down the street! What do you guys think....Should I make Alf his very own personalised LNYDP cap! If more than 50 of you amazing fans say yes I will get it underway today for pictures next week lol!

Our new Giant Balloon has just been approved and it looks pretty darn good peeps! Yea boi! You know you want to see it in the flesh lol! Well come Jan1st you can! She is named Milly the Magical Mermaid!

Good Morning all you magnificent LNYDP fanlets! Its official, we have a Majority government here in Britain for those of you following the General Election in these parts! The Conservatives have been elected for a further five years in a surprisingly one sided victory. Anyway that is the only political news that will be spoken of in this blog. We have far greater issues and news to discuss lol!

Excellent Turnout which is truly the most important thing!

Designs are in and it looks insanely exciting. 35 foot high and brimming with bright colours, that is what our very own Magical LNYDP Lord Mayor balloon will look like and frankly it will look boom tastic! I am excited, are you? You know you are haha!!

But if that does not take you fancy, why not check out the Rabbit in the Hat, the  gorgeous Unicorn, custom made exclusively for LNYDP, the Flying Wizard or the giant Dragon!! It really is going to be a truly magical sight on the streets of London come January 1st!

NEW Event Participation Forms

The ever glamorous and magnificent Lizzie Bone has truly excelled herself yet again. (Its basically a daily occurrence) with designing a brand new and sensational Participation Entry Form. I know most of you will be thinking.....YAWN! But wait......check it out below, it not only looks super snazzy, but is all encompassing and reads like a J.K Rowling book! Overall I say very exciting and darn good work LNYDP stalwart Lizzie Bone! A huge step forward and a massive leap forward for LNYDP!

Haircut time! 

Having a gorgeous girlfriend means I now find that I have to take slightly better care of myself....Sadly that includes cutting out my staple doughnut a day lol! It also means I now have a haircut every six weeks!! Yes every six weeks!! lol! Insane right!! So in fairness to the other LNYDP team members, I am posting a before and after shot! Alf is loving life at the moment! He is living with grandma and grandpa and has his very own garden! Not only that but he rules the Mews with a stern growl, albeit very rarely! Good Morning all you magnifique LNYDP peeps! What a great week it has been! Amazing LNYDP happenings and Alf is happy as he has his very own garden to rule the roost in! Including chasing cats, squirrels and even the odd Parrot! Seriously lol! Happy Alf and Joe today!

Bumblebee and Optimus Prime! 

Yep, I can exclusively reveal that we will be having Magical Transformer Robots in LNYDP 2016! Make sure you are in the crowd as they might pick you for audience participation lol!! These Robots are amazing and stand well over 15 ft in height. However I can confirm that we have some other very special Magical and well, tall guests at the Parade but they are a surprise! They are however good friends with Bumble and Optimus! and equally magical!! Hint Hint!!

LNYDP are delighted to once again be partnering Telenet Logistics. Telenet will be the exclusive LNYDP Logistics provider. They are an amazing company and organisation and they love LNYDP! Terry the head of operations for the LNYDP, Paris, Rome and Madrid operations is truly incredible and has already booked out certain Airlines offering the best service, so that we can make sure all participants have no delays and are completely hassle free. We welcome back Telenet and Terry and hope to be working with them for many more years to come! P.s. Alfie is a huge fan of Terry, so we know he is a great guy!
