Yes it is partly because Alfie and I are making everyone participate lol! The Mystery Of The Anonymous Flowers

This week the wonderful and ever youthful Theresa Davis received rather a fantastic surprise! The charming Tahir of 'Pot Pouri Flower Delivery' rang the front bell of LNYDP Mews headquarters and delivered a gorgeous bouquet of flowers for Theresa Davis! Inside was the anonymous but special note 'Thanking Theresa for all she does'!! Theresa wants to say a huge thank you to the anonymous sender! So do all of us at LNYDP! LNYDP and Telenet Logistics

I am delighted to announce that LNYDP is now officially partnered with Telenet Logistics. I know this will really only be of interest to Groups participating in this years LNYDP. However we have a feeling that LNYDP will have a long and fruitful relationship with Telenet Logistics. Andy and Terry who are the men responsible for running Telenet Logistics are truly terrific chaps and Telenet Logistics provide a superb, user friendly, reliable and world beating service! I am truly over the London moon about partnering such a great Logistics company. In return, I know Telenet Logistics are very excited about transporting the Instruments and Equipment for this year's LNYDP. In fact the whole Telenet Logistics UK team will be watching the Parade live on the Streets of London this year, such is their excitement to be involved with LNYDP! A superb outcome for all! In many ways the equivalent of a Disney Film ending...happy lol!

Hello hello magnificent LNYDP Fanlets and amazing folk! I am humbled and flattered this morning as our humble little blog that Alfie and I created has officially (according to google) reached over 30,000 views. In fact, it is officially 31,385. (Proof below lol!!) That is a lot of views and frankly I am rather speechless....not too speechless to write this blog though lol!! Sorry guys haha!! Now onto important LNYDP Gossip and drama!

First Draft Manifest's Complete!

I have been doing a lot of reading the last week or so and my mind is rather aching lol!! Alfie has been helping of course and is far more majestic with numbers than I! Definitely the Worlds smartest Pup haha! Obviously lol!! Anyway a massive thank you to all the incredible Band Directors and Group Leaders who have submitted their First Draft Manifests in on time!! All the Manifests were truly excellent, however.....there was one stand out First Draft Manifest which, If I am honest, blew me away for being so amazing! The best I have received or even seen in over 5 years of reading Manifests!  I have hidden the Group Name, but if you recognise this masterpiece, well done you....Gold star and LNYDP Stardom!

Big things in Rome and Frascati

The magnificent Lizzie from LNYDP Mews headquarters, ventured to Rome and Frascati at 4am yesterday morning to finalise arrangements for both the Rome Parade and the Frascati Street show and concerts. 

In Rome, the magnificent Lizzie teamed up with ever youthful Ella Gurmen to finalise the plans for the 1st January Parade which kicks off at 3pm! Lizzie and Ella met with the Rome Cultural and Events team who are soooo excited about the parade, that they have asked Lizzie and Ella if the World Famous Rome Police Band can participate. It is set to be a legend...wait for it....dary parade!!! lol!! I couldn't resist!

However the excitement did not stop there...no no!! Lizzie and Ella then ventured to Frascati where they met with even more important people, including the Frascati Cultural department, the Frascati Shop Keepers, the Frascati Chief of Police and last but not least, the Frascati press Office! It really was an amazing trip and everyone in Frascati is super excited for the Street Show and Concerts.

Malcolm leaves LNYDP Headquarters!! (But don;t worry it's only for half term)!!

The awesome man that is LNYDP Legend Malcolm Chalk is leaving LNYDP Mews headquarters!! As of this afternoon the Legendary Malcolm Chalk will not be in the LNYDP Mews for a full week!! But don't worry, Malcolm will return triumphant and heroically after a short break away!! We are already counting the days!! We miss you Mal!!!

It has been a fairly quiet week for Alf and I! The rain has been rather crazy and Alfie taking after his handsome father (Me) has rather taken against the rain....to the point that he refused to leave the office the other night when it was pouring down!! Truly one of the funniest things I have ever seen! That said I got some rather strange looks from honest passers by as I kept Alfie dry with an Umbrella, (The new amazing LNYDP Umbrella FYI) as I got completely soaked in my suit!! Yes I was actually wearing a suit lol!! Yes I was beyond soaked!! 

Other than that Alfie has been as good as gold! He has been snuggling up to his new best friend the LNYDP Alfie Bear which always makes me do a double take when a bit sleepy at night lol!! It's like there are suddenly two little Alfie's in our flat!! haha!!

Marathon Meeting at LNYDP Mews Headquarters!

So this week LNYDP staff had a marathon meeting lasting 4 hours!! I must say my head was rather full after the meeting but it was chaired magnificently by the one and only leader and hero Bob Bone. Although I must say Alfie was rather impressive too! I must say after being at the meeting, not only are we LNYDP staff in for a treat this year but you LNYDP amazing fanlets are too, as this year LNYDP 2015 is going to be the best parade to date!! It is looking truly spectacular!!
I must also say that LNYDP is delighted to welcome back the magnificent and ever young Darren Cheek! Darren has returned to where he belongs with all us LNYDP staff and we are all excited and delighted to have him back!! Welcome back Mr Darren!! Bring on LNYDP 2015!!

I am delighted to proudly display the new 2015 LNYDP Participant Wristband! Can i just say, If ever you amazing fans get bored of reading my blog, I reckon I could definitely have another career in wrist modelling lol!! Moving on however, this magnificent Wristband is free for all Participants in the 2015 LNYDP. This is the Wristband that you will wear on January the 1st!! What a beauty it is!! I am wearing mine with pride already!! But shhh as I am not meant to be lol! Its just tooo pretty!!!

Good Morning, Good Morning LNYDP Fantabulosa fanlets!! What a morning, the sun is shining and the weather is sweet, in the words of the late great Bob Marley!
Now personally both I and the Alfie feel great, however sadly the LNYDP Mews headquarters is a rather sickly place at the moment! Not enough vitamin D I say haha (see cool picture below)!! We have our leader and hero Bob Bone suffering with a touch of the Flu #manflu!! (Now hoping he does not read this blog lol!), Theresa Davis suffering from similar sneezey and cough related illness and now Mr Malcolm Chalk, man of iron and steel, even seems to have caught the illness bug! Alf and I however feel great lol, so fret not the blog shall continue in great magnitude and fortitude!

Legendary Lizzie Returns! 

As Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother liked to commonly articulate, the LEGENDARY Lizzie Bone has returned from her Majorca jaunt! I must say LNYDP Lizzie is looking very healthy and tanned! Alf and I really rather jealous lol! Lizzie jetted off to the Sunny Majorca isles with her husband and fellow Legendary person for a well deserved break! But all of us at LNYDP Mews headquarters are very glad to have such an LNYDP Legend back in the hot seat!

LNYDP Equipment and Instrumentation First Draft Manifest!

Now I appreciate whilst to some this may not be the most stimulating and interesting sub heading believe me it is revolutionary!! Without instruments and equipment the parade does not happen! 

This week was therefore the deadline for all overseas participating  LNYDP groups to submit their First Draft Equipment and Instrumentation Manifest, and can I just say what legends all the overseas participating Groups are for submitting their gorgeously created manifests exactly on time!! I am currently reading through the manifests and frankly the First Draft Manifests have been music to my ears! I can almost hear the sweet notes of the alto Sax's playing as I type!!

Its been a busy week for the famous LNYDP Mascot Alfie! A trip to the vets, yet again (nothing serious) followed by a doggy show followed by deciding he is now a human and drinking only out of his dads mugs, followed by work!! Its a tough life for the Alf but he loves every minute of it and I love having him with me for every minute of it!! I feel we have a Del Boy and Rodney type bond! I'm Del boy of course lol! Now this is rather an unusual sub heading for the blog, but I have been informed that one of our best and longest serving Tour Assistants, the Magnificent Emma Henry has confirmed that she will be joining LNYDP for a massive TENTH YEAR!! What a...wait for it....Legend....dairy Tour Assistant and generally awesome person! Yes I know I have been watching too much of Barney and How I met Your Mother lol!!
