Friday 27 June 2014

Good Morning, good afternoon and good evening LNYDP people! How are we all!?? What a fantastic week we have had here at LNYDP mews Offices. Busy but fantastic! It has been Site Inspection week and all of us at LNYDP have been privileged to meet the Band, Choir and Orchestra Directors (and their wonderful partners), all of whom will be bringing their kids over to perform in the magnificent event that is LNYDP 2015! A great way to dust down oneself and forget the disappointment that was England in the World Cup! Truly awful Lest I forget its a chance to see our American family with Dean 'O', Powell, Bill, Gary and Sheila all having their presence felt in London! In a very good way of course!

The wonderful Band, Choir and Orchestra Directors, with our very own Mr Malcolm Chalk far left!

Site Inspection

What a week! And its still going....yes indeedy, we have the splendiferous final dinner tonight and I can not wait! A real chance to kick back after a hard, but great week and chat till our hearts our content! We are fortunate enough to be dining at Number One Whitehall Place, in the Winston Churchill Suite and frankly I doubt there could be a better setting in London!? (Arguably Centre Court at Wimbledon watching the master that is Federer? lol)
So to recap, us LNYDP staff did our presentation and we think it went pretty well? It was our first attempt and a few tweaks here and there and I think we have it pretty much spot on!  Put it this way, I think we all managed to avoid the Mistakes Listed on last week's blog lol!

(Below are a couple of cheeky snaps taken during the presentation with our wonderful captive audience)!

Me, actually wearing a suit!! Looking very sharp if I may say haha!! (On the Left) Our master and leader Bob Bone wowing the audience with his flair, wit and charm (on the right) - This should keep me in a job for a few more weeks lol!!

Monroe and LNYDP

LNYDP are very proud to be supporting and sponsoring MONROE girl band. They performed at the wonderful LNYDP 2013 and between them in the band have played on tour for the Noisettes and have even represented Malta in the Eurovision Song contest. We were of course delighted therefore when they wore our branded LNYDP Sweathsirts with MONROE emblazoned on the front for their publicity shots! They also thanked LNYDP for all our support. Frankly we are delighted to support them and I know Alfie loves dancing to their music haha!!

'Huge Thanks to LNYDP, we are Loving our Merchandise!'

LNYDP Merchandise Watch!!

I am super delighted to announce that a certain Bob Bone Pin is now officially under construction lol!! I believe Bob is still blissfully unaware of this recent development, so for now I can sit easy in the lovely LNYDP Mews Offices lol!! I can also repot (much to my delight #proud dad) that we are currently in the process of trying to make a LNYDP Alfie Bear! Yep indeedy, you could snuggle up to your very own Alfie, both day and night! Seriously LNYDP amazing people, are you as excited about this as I am!? lol!!

Now I apologise in advance for this rather awful picture of me! But just think we could could all snuggle Alfie if we had an LNYDP Alfie bear!! #AMAZING!!

Alfie watch!

It has been a rather strange week for the little guy! He had his first ever experience on a London boat and loved it. The fun did not end there for the super handsome LNYDP mascot Alfie, as he also went on the London Underground for the very first time (see below) and was a little baffled, but as always was amazingly behaved!!!
Rather than be in the office this week, he has been at his grandma's house with the amazing Geri Bone, who has spoilt him rotten lol!! In fact he even got to play with bubbles in the garden and got super size treats! No wonder he looks a little glum to be home lol!! However I am happy to report that his doggie girlfriend Mischa is very well and the two of them saw each other after a week of absence!! (They say the absence makes the heart grow stronger lol). They had a great time on their doggy play date last night and I know Alfie is counting the minutes until his play date tonight!!  On a very brief sideline, as Alfie's dad I would like to wish Juno, Mischa's mum good luck in her upcoming exam results!! Good luck from all of us at LNYDP!!

Song Of The Week

A dedication to 'My Bossss', the one and only Dean 'O' !!

Friday 20 June 2014

Good afternoon LNYDP fanlets and amazing people!! The sun is shining and the weather is sweet, however the general mood is rather heavy hearted in the LNYDP Mews offices.
Indeed, It looks like, bar a miracle,  England are out of the World Cup 2014... Hugely disappointing. But on a brighter note it has been a great World Cup!! What do you all think? Let us know on facebook @LNYDP. The picture below sums up the general feeling today!! Only have to wait another four years lol!!

News this week....Wow, where to start, it has been a truly crazy and amazingly productive week. The sight Inspections commence this Tuesday the 23rd June so it really has been all hands on deck, for use of a better metaphor!

Sight Inspection Presentation Rehearsal and Extra Rehearsal!

Well this week all of us in LNYDP Mews offices have been like busy bees creating honey! However obviously instead of making honey, we have been creating a fantastic Presentation for all our magnificent Sight Inspection guests. We have practiced our rehearsal many a time now and have, I think, really got the presentation spot on! Hopefully our esteemed guests will think so too as this is the first year we have tried this and hopefully it will be the first of many!! I personally am greatly looking forward to giving my presentation on LNYDP Logistics and Merchandise and have been assured by my rather long suffering girlfriend, (who has listened to me practice over and over again) that it sounds great and makes sense! However as I keep telling her, she is rather biased lol!!

(Below are all the points that I have made sure to avoid lol)!!

Poster Image!

I am under strict instruction to not give tooo much away here!! Sorry LNYDP fans!! However I can reveal a wee little sneak preview of the amazing LNYDP 2015 Poster. It is amazing and I am sooo excited, so is little Alfie! He barked his approval in majestic fashion!

Take a peek below and well if I am honest there is soo much more to see, I just am not allowed to show you....just yet anyway!!

LNYDP Pins

Now this is really only super exciting to me as Head of Merchandise for LNYDP, however hopefully you guys will be as excited as I am! This year and for future years, we are looking at making LNYDP Pins, based upon the amazing characters we have on our website. Indeed we are looking at having our very own Bob Bone Pin, again if I keep my job after making one that is lol!!What do you guys think? I personally think they are fun, and will look great!!

Below is the Bob Bone Character. This would make a magnificent Pin and I also think LNYDP Official Mascot Alfie should be made into a Pin? What do you guys think? Let us know via facebook @ LNYDP.

Alfie Watch

Now this is as we all know the most important section of the weekly blog lol!! I am please to report that Alfie has had an amazing week! Indeed he has not peed once indoors. I'm telling you, he is a super advanced dog!! Definitely the cleverest dog ever!!
However, Alfie has acquired a taste for the finer foods and is now quite frankly refusing to eat any form of dog food, instead his preference being Marks and Spencer's Finest Roast Chicken Slices! He is a truly classy dog Alfie! Is it wrong that I am more than a little proud haha! In fact I currently spend more on Alfie's lunch than I do on my own! Oh dear lol!!

Aside from Alfie's rather magnificent Alfie-isms, things are still going strong with Mischa, despite the emergence of Kimmy last week. Indeed, it would seem that Alfie is a one dog dog!? I think that is how the saying goes lol!

Alfie dreams of the above, and who can blame him lol!

Song Of The Week

Sadly this song is for all of us supporting England. Do I need to say more lol!! Think it sums up our World Cup rather splendidly. Plus its a really rather beautiful song!

Friday 13 June 2014

TGIF!!! It is so very hot here at the moment...hottest day of the year in fact and well, windows are wide open at LNYDP Mews offices and summer wardrobes are very much the order of the day! Alfie is snoozing in the shade and frankly LNYDP life is super busy but super great too! Today we have the incredible Mr. Tyler Butterworth of 'Audiotraveler Limited'. (Mentioned previously in the Blog dated the 16th May). Tyler is finalising the design of the MP3 to ensure it is as visually stunning as it is audibly stunning!! Alfie also had his say on the design finish and well it seems he might have the deciding vote lol!!

Sara is Officially MARRIED!!

It is now official LNYDP fans and followers! The lovely Sara (Mrs) is completely off the market!! Sara and Allesandro are officially husband and wife and all of us at LNYDP are over the moon! They are an amazing couple, their wedding was truly beautiful (like the bride and groom) and we really do wish both of them every happiness in their lives together! I personally loved this photo of the Bride and Groom on their special day and wanted to share it with all you amazing LNYDP fans. A beautiful day for a beautiful couple!

The famous Tyler and 'Audiotraveler Limited'

The splendid Mr Butterworth delighted us all at LNYDP with an impromptu visit at our mews offices this morning. We where even more delighted to be helping design and choose the new design colour for the Audio Walk MP3 players. Alfie was similarly delighted, deciding that poor Tyler was his new BFF! (Sorry Tyler!!) Indeed I do sometimes fear that to the outside world we here at LNYDP Mews offices must look somewhat mad, especially letting our LNYDP mascot Alfie have the deciding vote on the colour of the future Madrid MP3 player! What can you do, its a dog's life lol! (Excuse the pun)!!
Pictured below is the splendid Tyler in full flow, with our very own gorgeous Lizzie Bone and famous LNYDP Onesie model Malcolm Chalk! The MP3 players are shown below and Alfie, with the deciding vote, chose the Madrid MP3 Audio Tour Player to be.....Mellow Yellow!! I'm so proud of the little guy!!

Poster Time!

Today we officially have the official first draft of the 2015 LNYDP Poster Design! It looks amazing, so colourful and sooo much going on! Our designers at Mash Media really have been busy bee's, buzzing away in their artistic paradise, creating their Poster 'piece de resistance',  instead of actual bee's who of course create delicious and sweet Honey nectar! (As you can tell, I'm a little hungry lol)
Sadly the powers that be in LNYDP Mews offices have not allowed the First Draft to be released, but fear not as by the end of June, I promise to bring you the Official LNYDP 2015 Poster Design in all its splendiferous glory! For the mean time you will have to take solice in the lonely Question Mark picture below! Sorry guys!! On a side note though, its a very pretty Question Mark and the colour of the question mark may give a slight clue as to the background colour of the poster.........(But shhhhhh.... I never told you that!!)

Majestic Madrid

As all you amazing LNYDP fans and followers know, LNYDP is organised by 'Youth Music Of The World', who also host performance Groups in many amazing European Destinations. Madrid is one of these stunning destinations. Lizzie Bone and the newly married Mrs. Sara ventured to Madrid this week and braved the 30 degree temperatures to ensure that all our amazing Performers and supporters have the most incredible trip! Your happiness is our happiness! Lizzie and Mrs Sara are delighted to announce that LNYDP and Youth Music Of The World have officially working with the 'Geographic Club' in Madrid. This is one of the most famous restaurants in Madrid and is simply an amazing place to go and eat... and frankly just to see!! There is so much Spanish History revolving around the famous Spanish Explorers on show here, that honestly my words can not do it justice.... try as I might lol! I just know you guys will love it!

Alfie Watch!

Its that time of the week again! Alfie time lol!! So, Alfie is now a food connoisseur! Having been instructed by our local vet to cook boiled chicken and rice for LNYDP mascot Alfie (he had a bad tummy) he is now rather picky about the food he eats and I can't say I blame him! His favourite dish is now dried dog food (chicken flavour of course) with freshly cooked ham placed across the top. Ideally I think he would order a side of Boiled rice too!! lol However his relationship with Mischa is still going strong although this week I have noticed a potential love rival for Mischa in the form of Kimmy a fluffy highland terrier who is rather gorgeous I have to concede! We shall wait and see what happens!!

Song Of The Week

Frankly its a great feel good song! Perfect for a hot sunny Friday!  I know that certain members in the LNYDP Mews Office might not be too delighted with this choice, but I bet you they will  be dancing and singing along!!lol!!  I know I am and will be all day haha!!

Friday 6 June 2014

Hello LNYDP fans and future starlets!! Today is a magnificent day for two reasons....Firstly we have 25 degrees and sunshine here in Chiswick at the Mews Offices, and Secondly because Sara and Alessandro are making their love official tomorrow!! Yes tomorrow is the big day, the wedding of Sara and Alessandro!! Very very exciting indeed!!

                                                  Yay!! Sara and Ale!!! Congratulations!!

Now this week in truth has been rather busy behind the scenes at LNYDP Mews Offices, with Lizzie Bone working incredibly hard and travelling all over Europe in preparation for the up coming Sight Inspections. Sadly this means that there is not too much gossip to report in this blog which means you will have to mainly make do with my ramblings, albeit very interesting ramblings haha!!

115 Years Old! No really!!

First Up on the Agenda this week has to be the incredible news of 'Jeralean Talley', who celebrated her 115th Birthday last week. Thus making her the oldest living American! Frankly all of us at LNYDP say a massive congratulations. Not only that, but this incredible lady is from Michigan and at LNYDP we are incredibly excited to be welcoming a Michigan based Band into the LNYDP! What an inspiration this incredible lady is.

Jeralean Tulley of Michigan!

Logistic Partnership Confirmed

I am personally delighted to confirm that LNYDP will be working with 'Expeditors' for our Freight Forwarding. They are a fantastic company that share the same values and ethics as LNYDP. They are a huge Global Brand and we are delighted that they are on board. They too can not wait to start shipping (by air) the equipment of all the amazing LNYDP participants and are delighted to be involved with this historic event.

Alfie Watch

This week Alfie is a lot happier! In fact as I type this he is sunbathing in front of the window on his favourite chair, looking without a care in the world. However sadly Alfie has had a slight Fever this week and so he has been on antibiotics. Do not worry however, as he is on the mend and is back to his cheeky charming self! Indeed he had his first play date (in four days) with Mischa (his girlfriend) yesterday and so Alfie is a happy LNYDP mascot once more!! Oh yes, he also had his second hair cut and boy does he look handsome!! Check him out!!

                                                        Super handsome Alfie Bone!

The R's are Going Up!!!

Now this is not an entirely personal post as LNYDP have for many years sponsored the magnificent Queens Park Rangers Football Club. It just so happens that they are also my personal team! Last weekend, many of you might have seen that Bobby Zamora scored a last minute winner to send QPR back into the Premier League! This was essentially a £160,000,000 million goal, as promotion to the English Premier League is worth that much to a football team. All of us at LNYDP were delighted and a massive congratulations to the boys in blue!! What a season!! Come on youuuu R'sssssss!!!! Below are a few personal snaps of the great occasion!!

A great day for QPR, celebrated by all at LNYDP

Song Of The Week

Frankly who better to sing out the week, than the famous British Icon, Sir Cliff Richard! In fact this song is most appropriate with the big wedding taking place and QPR securing promotion! Enjoy and have a great weekend from all of us at LNYDP Mews Offices.
