Good afternoon LNYDP fantabulosa fans! How are we all this fine day? I am pleased to report that both Alfie and I are excellent....Yes indeedy! In fact, I am even more delighted to tell you guys that we got the Proto-Type Alfie Bear delivered to our LNYDP Mews Headquarters this week, super exciting I know right!! It is frankly amazingly cute and Alfie sealed his approval by both barking and cuddlling Alfie Bear all at the same time!
In other news a rather large Destination Events trip is ongoing in the US, but enough of thatimportant news for now! haha....

The Head of the LNYDP Mews Headquarters returns from Holiday!

The magnificent, talented, gorgeous and well generally fantabulosa person that is, Theresa Davis returned to the LNYDP Mews Headquarters this week and we are sooooo glad to have Theresa back after three deserved weeks away! We love Theresa and we know all you amazing fans do too!! Welcome back boss!! xxx

USA and Giant Penguins!

Now, at this very moment in time a magnificent thing is happening!! Oh yes, it really truly and genuinely is!! Many of the awesome LNYDP team are in the United States Of America as we speak, including our leader and hero, Mr. Bob Bone, selecting the very best High School's and College Bands to whom they will be extending an invitation to perform in Rome, Paris and Frascati in 2016. It is an amazing tour of the States, encompassing over 10 States, including so far, Georgia, Virginia, Nebraska, Ohio, Missouri and Michigan! So much talent to see and witness and so many Giant Penguins!! lol

So this week has been a hard week, but all for a great cause, you! Our superrr amazing fans! Here are a few personal thoughts the Alfster and I have been sharing this week....

- The ALS Ice Bucket challenge we both noticed has become rather huge both this side of the Pond and in the States! It is a great cause and we were just wondering whom, if nominated would be the person to take on the Ice Bucket Challenge for LNYDP?

- Secondly, Alfie and I disagree on who will win the US Open this year! I say Nole, Alfie says Andy Muray? What do you guys think! If Andy wins, should we invite him to watch LNYDP as a guest of honour?

p.s.  Alfie wants to give a massive bark out to Cici Bellis, the American Hero of the week? Future Grand Slam winner?

Good Morning LNYDP awesome peeps! Today it really is morning for me as well, as I'm writing this at the crazy early hour of 9am! So this week has been rather hectic and I had all my splendid hair cut off, so like Samson I feel like I have lost my strength...However Alfie and I and all the fantastic LNYDP staff have trooped on for our magnificent leader and even more magnificent fans! Check out the rough informal highlights of the week below!

Information Pack Packing (with Joe and Alfie) 

This week has been more manual labour than intellectual mind strain lol!! Alfie and I have been busy bee's constructing the Information Packs for our overseas staff! Seriously, there is a lot of information that goes into these packs, over 1000 pages per pack!! You can all rest assured that the intelligent ones in the LNYDP mews offices compile and create the extremely intellectual documents and the brawn (Alfie and I ) then piece the Intellectual documents together and make them look gooooodddd!!! haha!! 'Presentation Presentation Presentation' as LNYDP great friend Dean O would famously say to us all!

Now as briefly mentioned above, Clearly Alfie and I are not the LNYDP brains, we are the LNYDP brawn! But the magnificent duo of Lizzie and Sara are the brains and the beauty! They achieved their Certificate's of Achievement for 'In Design' and 'Illustrator'. No idea what this means but I am assured it was a splendiferous genius like achievement! Congratulations the lovely lady duo!

Who is the Office Hunk? or Hunkess??

Now the LNYDP office conundrum is who received the message on the bottle?? I like to think it was me, but so does Alfie!? The saga continues!! 

Yesterday, at exactly 5pm this bottle (pictured below) with the message displayed on the front was found inside the  LNYDP mews offices. The question we are all asking is who has the secret admirer?? Who is 'Handsome'??

Alfie Watch!

Its been a great week for little Alf the famous LNYDP mascot! Alfie was rather naughty on Monday barking at all who dared enter the LNYDP Mews offices! However he has redeemed himself to everyone by being both super handsome and very helpful! Not only has Alfie been helping me, but he has been helping Lizzie pack boxes and has helped us all at LNYDP Mews offices by being simply magnificently cute!! The good news is, so far this week we have had no trips to the vet and no fleas!! Winning!! He has been so good, I even let him sleep on the bed yesterday as a treat!

Hello marvellous LNYDP fanlets!! Welcome to another instalment of the Joe and Alfie blog! If I am honest the weather has taken a nose dive to winter-ish weather and well 'Big Bertha' storm remnants are still being felt! Similarly it has been an eventful week in the life of Alfie, or should I say Alf-flea!! The clue is in the re-naming there lol!! But more on poor little Alf later!!

Firstly I must address some very sad news that has come to light this week. Both LNYDP, Alfie and myself were really saddened to hear of the passing of a magnificent man, actor and comedian, 'Robin Williams'. I personally have very fond memories of growing up watching Mrs Doubtfire, Good Will Hunting and my personal favourite Good Morning Vietnam! Rest in peace.

Rome or should I say ROMA!!! 

Well our LNYDP leader and very important person, Bob Bone, led a Youth Music Of The World team to the glorious city of Rome at the horrendous hour of 4.30am in the morning to have a meeting with the 'Mayor of Rome' and the 'Head of Rome Events' from the Rome Culture Department! I can happily report that the meeting was a great success! 

The Mayor and Rome City Hall are so excited for the Rome Event on New Years Day that they have asked for the original parade route be expanded and the event grown! They can not wait until 3.30pm on January the1st, when the parade kicks off, and nor can we!! Below is a mock up of the new proposed and expanded parade route!

Happy Birthday to a True Youth Music Of The World Legend

Ella Gurmen, the Manager Of Italian Events, who has been with Youth Music Of The World since I was as big as Alfie (a longgg longgg time ago)..... has celebrated a milestone birthday this week!! Bob Bone and the lovely Lizzie where fortunate enough to present Ella with a birthday card and present from all of us at Youth Music Of The World! Happy Birthday Ella!!

Alf-flea!!

Well as I hinted earlier it has been an interesting week for LNYDP mascot Alfie! Kate and I took the gorgeous Alfie into the beautiful English country side last weekend and Alfie being a city dog managed to catch Flea's!! Poor little guy!! Anyway to cut a long story short....one sleepless night, x5 doggy baths with special flee shampoo and one flea jab later,  we had a happy, healthy and flea free LNYDP mascot Alfie once more!! We also had x2 very tired doggy parents haha!!! Alfie is just delighted that his human mum and dad (thats Kate and I lol) bought a super soft rug for our apartment! See below, it has become Alfie's new playzone lol!!

Good Morning LNYDP fanlets! Today I am sun burnt and well in rather a lot of pain! Yesterday I decided to play tennis with a good friend of mine and an ex Davis Cup player with a world ranking (having been) inside the top 450. Anyway suffice to say my body is not what it used to be and well my legs and arms and back and even head is really feeling it today!! Ouchyyy!!! The Clocks ticking guys and I'm only getting older!! lol
Similarly Alfie the famous LNYDP mascot did not fancy sleeping last night and decided to have a midnight wander and bark! All in all, thank goodness its Friday lol!!! TGIF even!!

Lizzie the Busy Bee (After her Majorca Jaunt)!!

Well LNYDP worker of the week has to go to the magnificent and talented Lizzie Bone! Who also happens to be the second best Ping Pong player in the family! Since taking a very short 4 day holiday to Majorca, LNYDP hero Lizzie has been working like a demon this week. In fact, I can officially report that Lizzie has arrived at the office before 8am everyday and has left not before 8pm! A full 12 hour day for a week! Personally I think she is mad! However, I have to be nice as currently Lizzie is Alfie's favourite Dog Sitter, having spoilt him rotten yesterday in LNYDP Mews Office with lots of chicken treats!!

Well LNYDP super trooper of the week has to be the amazing Sara Marinoni who braved Armageddon weather on her mission to take photographs and videos for the new Paris parade route kicking off in 2016! 

Sara deserves a medal for braving the rain and thunder and not giving up! All for you magnificent Youth Music Of The World  fans!! The worst part for poor Sara is that it is 28 degrees and sunny today in Paris!! #Whatyagonnado!! lol!!

This week has been an unusual week for the Alfster and I! Logistics has been a front runner and we have been working hard on getting the best Logistic quotes possible for the famous Big Bertha Drum! 

However the Merchandise is still very prominent and the 2015 LNYDP Merchandise is now available via the online shop at www.LNYDP.com. Have a peek and tell me what you amazing LNYDP fanlets think!? The Alfie bear prototype is still under construction, so sadly Alfie Bear is not available quite yet!! Disappointing I know!! 

For the Alfster, I think it has been a rather relaxing week! In fact he has made best friends with the LNYDP Guardsman bear of 2013! If I am honest he will not let the bear go and even insists on taking him walking with him!! I have to say it's too cute (especially when he cuddles him when sleeping...see below) but slightly embarrassing when walking down the High Street lol!!

Fact Of The Week (Totally LNYDP unrelated)!!

Ok, so this is a new section of the blog and in all truth will most likely not be permanent....HOWEVER, this week I have some huge fun facts to tell you LNYDP fanlets!! 

As many of you know, I am a hugeee doughnut fan and so I have decided to share with you a couple of fun facts about doughnuts! 

- The Dutch were making olykoeks, or “oil cakes,” as early as the mid 19th century. These early doughnuts were simply balls of cake fried in pork fat until golden brown. Because the centre of the cake did not cook as fast as the outside, the cakes were sometimes stuffed with nuts that did not require cooking. Hence the name DOUGH-NUTS!

- Hanson Gregory an American Ship Captain came up with the idea of punching a hole in the middle of the DOUGH-NUT to eliminate the uncooked area in which the nut was generally placed. Thus the shape of the Doughnut was created!

Good Morning wonderful LNYDP fanlets! How are we all? Enjoying a glorious summer wherever you may be, I hope! I know we are in London! This week has been very much a merchandise week for the Alfster and I! I mean serious merchandise has been talked and sampled! It's been intense lol!! Alfie has never had to work so hard!!In fact he has been doing some serious doggy modelling for the Alfie Bear that will hopefully be available for all you amazing LNYDP fanlets later this year!

Well to be honest the Sub heading tell's you pretty much what this section is about lol! Below is an overview of the first official visual of NEW LNYDP Merchandise! This is just a sneak preview for you awesome fans before the Merchandise goes live on www.LNYDP.com!!  I am personally so excited for the Pins, and Cuff links!! However, we are all yet to see the Alfie bear which is currently a prototype but is frankly toooo exciting for words!!haha!!

Now that you have seen a brief overview, (above) I have to go into a little more detail I'm afraid! It's not only the look of the LNYDP Merchandise which is important but the feel and quality!!

So this week has been all about me and Alf sampling the good and the great offerings we have received!!  I must say, the end result is super exciting. We have a superb gloss finished and weighty Pin oozing LNYDP Class and the Cuff links are something George Clooney would wear with pride! A good weight and an even classier feel! However I am not going to lie, it has been somewhat stressful getting to this stage lol! Who knew how many varieties of weight options and finish qualities there were for a simple, but oh so handsome pin!!!! lol

This is the final selection of Pins and the fabulous Umbrella that made it through the rigorous LNYDP testing process!! lol

Alfie Haircut and Modelling 

Well this week has been a super busy week for the LNYDP mascot Alfie! Recovering from his arrest last week he has been put to work this week lol! (DO YOU GUYS WANT TO KNOW WHY LNYDP MASCOT ALFIE GOT ARRESTED?? LOL)

In order to achieve the perfect Alfie Bear we had to have Alfie captured at every angle which meant a lot of Chicken and a lot of photographs!! lol!! By the end of it I'm convinced Alfie was posing for the camera!! haha!! I must say he really is one handsome puppy!! He even had a hair cut especially for the big day and well just look at the below! How gorgeous does he look! I have to say he is even more handsome than his human dad lol!! Not to worry though, as that night Alfie had his favourite Chargrilled chicken and rice for dinner!!
