Hello magnificent LNYDP fanlets!! I apologise for the ever so slight delay of this essential weekly read lol! As I am sure you can imagine things are somewhat hectic (in an organised way of course) in LNYDP Mews Headquarters!!! Alfie is literally rushed off his little paws!!

But firstly and really rather sadly, this is my last blog until the New Year! I know right, what are you amazing people going to do!! Where are you going to get your behind the scenes LNYDP gossip!?? Well fret not amazing LNYDP fanlets because (unless something goes terribly wrong - which it won't of course) I shall be here, all next year with the incredible Alfie!! You will all be delighted to know that all LNYDP, Madrid and Rome Merchandise is now ready and available in stock. In fact, all orders have been fulfilled and are waiting for their proud new owners (especially the gorgeous Alfie Puppies) to collect them at their Hotels in London!! This year we have also decided to expand our Merchandise range and offer Rome and Madrid official Merchandise. The Merchandise is frankly awesome this year and I hope you guys love it as much as Alf and I do! Suffice to say, yesterday a few LNYDP staff and our very own Leader and Hero Bob Bone, got rather into the festive spirit in the LNYDP warehouse yesterday lol!! Pics below!! Old  Merchandise Stock

I just wanted to give you amazing LNYDP fanlets an update on what happens to our old Merchandise stock. Whilst we never have a great amount of left over stock, we are keen to make sure that we support a number of charities and this year, we have donated our remaining stock to btr-ltd, a charitable company based in Bristol (UK), who distribute the clothing to those who need it most, in Europe, Western Africa and Pakistan. Alfie and I are both really proud of the fact that our old stock is not simply recycled for its cotton etc, but put to good use and given to people who really need clothing. Hopefully we can inspire more people to do the same!

Good Morning, Good afternoon and Good evening LNYDP Fanlets and starlets! What a crazy but brilliant week it has been for Alfie, myself and of course the awesome LNYDP! However, let me firstly apologise to all you magnificent people for my absence last week. I am afraid there is no excuse other than tardiness! It was my birthday and basically I decided to have a long weekend and take Friday off! It was amazing, not going to lie lol!!

In fact I had a birthday party at a magnificent venue in Kensington where you play Golf indoors, whilst being served cocktails and sliders! Pretty sweet hey! Your all invited next year FYI! Game onnnnn!!! This was followed by a magnificent meal on Saturday night, with my favourite pudding 'In the worlddd' being served....Glorious squidgy and delicious Beignets, cooked to blissful perfection! mmmmh little bites of joyfulness!

LNYDP Launch

Well after my brief exodus from LNYDP Mews headquarters, Alfie and I came back with a bang! We had the official LNYDP Launch, at the splendid and very glitzy Corinthia Hotel (Official partner of LNYDP) on Wednesday the 10th December...and boy what a launch it was! I am sure you have all seen the official pictures but below are a few cheeky snaps of the lovely ladies behind the scenes who dressed the room and made it all happen!! LNYDP and LONDON are officially 'On the Move'! Yea boiiii!!

Alfie Bears!!! 

Ok, so Alfie finally met all his little brothers this week and he absolutely loves them!! The Full Stock of LNYDP Alfie Bears has arrived and are currently waiting to be given to beautiful and loving homes! Anyway, I decided to bring an Alfie Puppy to the LNYDP Mews headquarters and Alfie went crazy for him! He has not stopped hugging him since! It is beyond cute!! Safe to say that the Alfie puppy very much has the stamp of approval from the official Alfie mascot! Below is frankly the cutest picture ever! Look at Alfie's paw actually hugging the Alfie puppy!! Wayyy to cute people!!

Big Bertha has arrived!!

I am delighted to announce that Big Bertha has officially arrived and is waiting its first drum beat! It is truly magnificent and frankly awe inspiring! Big Bertha alone is reason to come and watch the incredible LNYDP on January 1st. Both Alfie and I were amazed by its size and scale and frankly, can not wait to see it being pulled along the LNYDP Parade route! Amazing!!

Good morning magnificent LNYDP fantabulosa fanlets! To all our American friends HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! I hope you are all having a great couple of days with loved ones and enjoying your Turkey and Yams! I know I did Alfie and I did last night!

So this week I have some fantastic Thanksgiving delights to tell you about and some even better behind the scenes LNYDP gossip. Plus the opportunity of a lifetime for one very special person.....

Thanksgiving Spirit 

Certain staff members at LNYDP decided to get into the Thanksgiving spirit, I was of course one of them, as was Alfie! We ventured to a magnificent American style restaurant, 'The Big Easy' on the supremely famous Kings road in Chelsea and had a seriously good and well, filling time lol! The food was just too good and the portions massive!! I think Alfie and I will be eating Turkey sandwiches for the next week, followed by Red Velvet Cake haha! 

Anyway a fantastic evening was had by all and check out the gorgeous Turkey and Mac and Cheese we ate! mmmmmhhh delicious!! Not to mention the homemade Corn Bread that the wonderful LNYDP Lizzie is beautifully holding aloft!

Do You Know a London Hero?

This year LNYDP are offering a 'Parade Day Pampering' to a London hero. What does this mean....well read on to find out!!! 

This year, if you are LNYDP's chosen London Hero, you and three members of your Friends or Family will be 'Guest's of Honour' on behalf of LNYDP on New Year's Day. 

However not only that, the London Hero will cut the ribbon outside the Ritz hotel to officially 'Open the Parade' in front of our global 320 million worldwide audience! 

But that is not it, the LNYDP London Hero will ride the Parade Route, in an open top bus with the Lord Mayors Of London, waving at the street crowds of over 600,000 people!!

Then to top of an extraordinary day, the LNYDP London Hero will receive the very special 2015 LNYDP Medal and attend the LNYDP awards ceremony at the conclusion of the Parade. 

We hope a great day, for a most deserving and great London Hero!!

Ela Gurman arrives in London

A massive LNYDP welcome to the gorgeous and ever youthful Ela Gurman. Ella has been in the LNYDP Mews headquarters since Wednesday, finalising the Rome and Frascati Itinerary. In fact not only has Ella been working like an ant making an ant mound, but she has also been keeping the birthday boy happy with constant tummy tickles and doggie games!! We all want Ela to stay, Alfie especially!! LNYDP love you Ela!!

Final Manifests DONE! Carnets 50% complete! 

Amazing news for those of you that are interested. I officially love the LNYDP, Rome and Madrid Groups taking part in 2015. This year all Final Equipment and Instrument Manifests are complete! Finito!  Not only that, but 50% of the Carnets have been submitted. A massive thank you to all the incredibly talented and organised groups and a massive thank you to our Logistics provider Telenet Logistics. A great week for the Equipment and Instrument transportation!

Now many of you keener of eye LNYDP folk, will have seen one of our two Promotional Chocolates being given away on the 10th December at the LNYDP Launch, taking place at the Corinthia Hotel in London. I can tell you officially, that we will also be having LNYDP Chocolates with White wrapping with red print! Very exciting indeedy, plus they taste yum tastic...trust me, I have had about 50! Genuinely!! 

 If you like Milk Mint Chocolate and love LNYDP, pop down to the launch and sneak a few of the 4,000 LNYDP Chocolates we have!! lol! Not only that we have an incredible 200 personalised LNYDP Balloons to make sure you find your way to the personalised chocolates! A little like an easy early easter egg hunt!

Alfie's 1st Birthday

Ok, so I know this is the one paragraph all you magnificent LNYDP fans are waiting to read! lol! Alfie officially turned one (1) on Tuesday evening at approx 5pm! Of course, in true LNYDP fashion, we held a mini birthday party where Alfie was presented with a Waitrose Marrow Bone and multiple birthday presents lol! All were amazing and Alfie loved every minute of it...especially his Organic Marrow Bone lol!

Wasssuuupppp!!! Morning Morning LNYDP magnificent fanlets and awesome people! What a truly wet and cold morning it is here in London. Alf and I are not impressed. It is definitely a day to sit on the sofa (couch) and watch 'rom com' films with a tub of popcorn, sweet of course! But I once again digress!

So what a busy week it has been in LNYDP Mews headquarters. But then again it was rather hectic last week too, including last Saturday when we had the most successful Tour Assistant Training day to date. All thanks must go to the lovely and gorgeous Lizzie Bone who ran it expertly rather like a conductor of ceremonies conducting a magnificent ceremony! lol! !

The best show on Saturday! Lizzie and Dean O, led a fun and fact filled seminar for the new Tour Assistants!  The best double team in Britain! 

I can truly say, with hand on both mine and Alfie's heart, that all the amazingly talented Groups participating in this years LNYDP, are in for a real treat with the Tour Assistants Lizzie has lined up for them.

I am delighted to announce that we have a new and brilliant member of our LNYDP team, Joe Coles. Joe, who firstly has a name of champions, has been a brilliant addition to the team at LNYDP Mews Headquarters and we are delighted that Joe will be with us until February 2015. Alfie too is a big fan of Joe, as Joe spoils Alfie with tummmy tickles lol! A massive LNYDP welcome Joe!

Big news, yesterday, Alfie and I took delivery of over 80 boxes of brochures, which means only one thing, The Concert Series brochures had arrived! This is big news for two reasons, 1) They look amazing and frankly the excitement that the Concerts are nearly upon us is too much to handle! 2) The LNYDP brochures follow on from the Concert Series brochures! #EXCITING!!! lol It really is nearly time people!!! Alfie Time

Ok, so another great week for the World Famous and super handsome LNYDP Mascot Alfie! More Alfie Puppies sold via the online shop at LNYDP.com and more excitement for the real Alfie lol!!

This week Alfie managed to find rats underneath the decking of his Grandma's and Grandpa's house! It led to rather an eventful Monday afternoon and evening! When I say eventful, what I mean is a lot of barking and crazy running around! lol.... But well done LNYDP Mascot Alfie for finding the trail! The pest people came and sorted the rat problem, although poor Alf can not go into the garden for three weeks! We have since found out them rats are all thanks to Grandma's and Grandpa's next door neighbours, who have a chicken Pen,  in London lol!! Very strange I know!! 

Rats aside, Alfie has gone back to the fun everyday LNYDP Mews headquarters office life! Although as he is currently curled into a little ball, sleeping and letting out the occasional cute little snore, I feel, that Alfie feels, life could be a lot worse haha!! I do love the little guy, probably far too much!! haha

First Alfie Puppy Sold!

Well without doubt, the biggest news of the week, the First Official Alfie Puppy was sold! Debbie Calhoun is the lucky lady and is now LNYDP Macot Alfie's favourite LNYDP fanlet! Since Debbie's Order, we have sold a further 25 Alfie puppies. The snowball effect lol!! Come on guys, get your Alfie Puppy!! Give the cute little guy a happy home!! How can you resist that crazy cute and handsome face!! (Takes after his hhuman dad lol)

I have been working closely with the incredible and super talented 'House Of Logos Ltd'  and they have created a truly magnificent and bespoke product for us here at LNYDP Mews headquarters. Alfie Update!

So, this week has been interesting and well rather crazy for the LNYDP Mascot Alfie. Alfie has been with his grandma and grandpa every night this week and well frankly, he absolutely loves it at grandma's and grandpa's! In fact his amazing grandma even cooked him his very own roast chicken without the skin! She doesn't even do that for me!! lol!! 

We have also found out that Alfie loves fireworks!! He is not at all scared of them, and loves to watch them!! Who knew!! On top of that, we have also found out that Alfie rather enjoys Halloween, although when he answered the door to some very scary trick or treaters, they all wanted to stroke him, despite him trying to be scary in his skeleton costume!  It was very cute and well really rather amusing! 

So overall, a pretty good and unusual week for the famous and handsome LNYDP Mascot Alf! I think he is pretty tired today and looking forward to a relaxing weekend haha!!

The charming Tahir of 'Pot Pouri Flower Delivery' rang the front bell of LNYDP Mews headquarters and delivered a gorgeous bouquet of flowers for Theresa Davis! Inside was the anonymous but special note 'Thanking Theresa for all she does'!! Theresa wants to say a huge thank you to the anonymous sender! So do all of us at LNYDP! LNYDP and Telenet Logistics

I am delighted to announce that LNYDP is now officially partnered with Telenet Logistics. I know this will really only be of interest to Groups participating in this years LNYDP. However we have a feeling that LNYDP will have a long and fruitful relationship with Telenet Logistics. Andy and Terry who are the men responsible for running Telenet Logistics are truly terrific chaps and Telenet Logistics provide a superb, user friendly, reliable and world beating service! I am truly over the London moon about partnering such a great Logistics company. In return, I know Telenet Logistics are very excited about transporting the Instruments and Equipment for this year's LNYDP. In fact the whole Telenet Logistics UK team will be watching the Parade live on the Streets of London this year, such is their excitement to be involved with LNYDP! A superb outcome for all! In many ways the equivalent of a Disney Film ending...happy lol!

Hello hello magnificent LNYDP Fanlets and amazing folk! I am humbled and flattered this morning as our humble little blog that Alfie and I created has officially (according to google) reached over 30,000 views. In fact, it is officially 31,385. (Proof below lol!!) That is a lot of views and frankly I am rather speechless....not too speechless to write this blog though lol!! Sorry guys haha!! Now onto important LNYDP Gossip and drama!

First Draft Manifest's Complete!

I have been doing a lot of reading the last week or so and my mind is rather aching lol!! Alfie has been helping of course and is far more majestic with numbers than I! Definitely the Worlds smartest Pup haha! Obviously lol!! Anyway a massive thank you to all the incredible Band Directors and Group Leaders who have submitted their First Draft Manifests in on time!! All the Manifests were truly excellent, however.....there was one stand out First Draft Manifest which, If I am honest, blew me away for being so amazing! The best I have received or even seen in over 5 years of reading Manifests!  I have hidden the Group Name, but if you recognise this masterpiece, well done you....Gold star and LNYDP Stardom!

Big things in Rome and Frascati

The magnificent Lizzie from LNYDP Mews headquarters, ventured to Rome and Frascati at 4am yesterday morning to finalise arrangements for both the Rome Parade and the Frascati Street show and concerts. 

In Rome, the magnificent Lizzie teamed up with ever youthful Ella Gurmen to finalise the plans for the 1st January Parade which kicks off at 3pm! Lizzie and Ella met with the Rome Cultural and Events team who are soooo excited about the parade, that they have asked Lizzie and Ella if the World Famous Rome Police Band can participate. It is set to be a legend...wait for it....dary parade!!! lol!! I couldn't resist!

However the excitement did not stop there...no no!! Lizzie and Ella then ventured to Frascati where they met with even more important people, including the Frascati Cultural department, the Frascati Shop Keepers, the Frascati Chief of Police and last but not least, the Frascati press Office! It really was an amazing trip and everyone in Frascati is super excited for the Street Show and Concerts.

Malcolm leaves LNYDP Headquarters!! (But don;t worry it's only for half term)!!

The awesome man that is LNYDP Legend Malcolm Chalk is leaving LNYDP Mews headquarters!! As of this afternoon the Legendary Malcolm Chalk will not be in the LNYDP Mews for a full week!! But don't worry, Malcolm will return triumphant and heroically after a short break away!! We are already counting the days!! We miss you Mal!!!

The Alf and I!

It has been a fairly quiet week for Alf and I! The rain has been rather crazy and Alfie taking after his handsome father (Me) has rather taken against the rain....to the point that he refused to leave the office the other night when it was pouring down!! Truly one of the funniest things I have ever seen! That said I got some rather strange looks from honest passers by as I kept Alfie dry with an Umbrella, (The new amazing LNYDP Umbrella FYI) as I got completely soaked in my suit!! Yes I was actually wearing a suit lol!! Yes I was beyond soaked!! 

Other than that Alfie has been as good as gold! He has been snuggling up to his new best friend the LNYDP Alfie Bear which always makes me do a double take when a bit sleepy at night lol!! It's like there are suddenly two little Alfie's in our flat!! haha!!
