Good Morning LNYDP amazing folk! Autumn is now officially upon us in sunny London and I can really feel the temperature drop! The air conditioning in the LNYDP Mews Headquarters is firmly switched off and the sweatshirts are back in full force! Just on a very quick side note, both Alfie and I were delighted to offer our support for the #heforshe campaign. Umbrella Time!

This year we are delighted to be welcoming the LNYDP Umbrella back onto the online shop. I have personally overseen the production from start to finish of this masterpiece and this Umbrella is quite frankly awesome!! Personally Alfie and I think it looks magnificent. More importantly though, it is genuinely a great umbrella, sturdy and compact, yet the right size to keep both Alfie and I dry should a little liquid sunshine appear!
Indeed, reading this blog back to myself, I can see rather too clearly, that I have been spending far too much time around Umbrellas lol! Moving on.......lol

Congratulations to Blue Valley North's Marching Mustang!

I am delighted to announce that 'Blue Valley North's Marching Mustang' band have been officially invited to perform in LNYDP 2016! Massive congratulations to them and I know that everyone in the UK and of course in the LNYDP Mews headquarters is delighted and excited (in equal measure) to see them perform in just over a year! Congratulations again!!

All of you will know of the incredible, talented and handsome Dean Oblonsky! LNYDP hero and legend! But I am not sure many of you will know of Molly Scott Terrell Oblonsky and Patricia Francine Scott Terrell Oblonsky! These are Dean's two amazingly cute dogs, meaning our very own LNYDP Alfie, officially has doggie friends accross the big pond! I had to pop this picture into the blog because, as a dog lover it is frankly too cute lol!!

Last week I mentioned Sara and Jonny's amazing trip to Panama, where they witnessed some truly incredible band performances and had a magnificent experience. This week I am delighted to be posting a picture sent in to me earlier this week, of our very own LNYDP Sara Marinoni, alongside Carlos and his Mother from Panama. Both Carlos and his Mother are massive fans of LNYDP and are huge supporters of marching bands in Panama. It is a great picture and thanks for sharing it with us Carlos!

Alfie Playing Soccer!

Well frankly a week would not be complete without a picture of the most handsome and talented puppy in the Universe, LNYDP's very own Mascot Alfie! I appreciate I am biased here by the way lol!! I also feel really guilty, as I had to tell Alfie off for knocking over Sara's bin this morning and well he is definitely sulking at me with his big puppy eyes!! 

This week I have an amazing snap of Alfie playing Soccer and he is genuinely really rather good! Much faster than his dad these days lol!

Good Morning! After taking the last couple of weeks off, I have realised just how incredibly fortunate I am to have such an amazing platform to share both mine and Alfie's thoughts with! I genuinely feel very honoured that you amazing LNYDP fans take the time to read our blog and want to truly thank you for that! I think over the coming years we will have some amazing journeys together, although I don't want to get too mushy and embarrassing this Friday morning lol!!

YES / NO Scottish Vote ....

First off, I think some important news needs to be addressed! Many of you might well have seen the news of the Scottish YES / NO vote for independence. Well I am delighted to announce that Scotland has voted NO to Independence and so Great Britain will remain Great! Alfie, I and everyone in the LNYDP Mews Headquarters feels very proud and patriotic today!

Sara and Jonny Conquer Central America 

The wonderful Sara Marinoni and the awesome Sir Jonny Whaley ventured to Central America to watch some of the most talented bands in Central America perform. The bands were incredible and we look forward to hopefully inviting them to participate in the phenomenon that is LNYDP in the near future! I know that both Sara and Jonny were blown away watching these talented bands perform. Below are a couple of snaps from the performances of the 'Mass Band in Puebla, Mexico' and the 'Mco Marching Band in La Chorrera, Panama'.

Alfie's Brief Holiday Overview! 

Ok, so Alfie had the best holiday ever! Definitely the most Pampered Pooch in the Universe lol! In fact as I type this blog, Alfie is being incredibly naughty and is attacking poor Sara's bin! Who knew such a small thing could create so much mess lol!! But back to the holiday.....Alfie had his first ever trip to the seaside and loved every minute of it! He even had a little swim but got a little scared when it got too deep! He really did miss Malcolm, Sara, Theresa, Lizzie, Nick and our hero and leader Bob though as I have never seen anyone so excited to come back to work lol! Except me of course haha!! He is well and truly a LNYDP team member now!!

Needless to say I am very excited and frankly in a majestically good mood today! I am however going to miss all the amazing LNYDP peeps and of course you guys, but holiday is holiday right!!!Haha!!

Malcolm The Great Returns

First on the agenda!! Now this is a super importante piece of LNYDP news..... A huge Alfie, Joe and LNYDP welcome back to Mr Malcolm! We have all missed Malcolm, Alfie especially! We are all super delighted Malcolm is back, looking tanned, refreshed and ready to shine for LNYDP and all you amazing fans! Great to have Malcolm back after a well deserved rest!! Vamosss!!!

Francis the LNYDP Rome traveller! 

Many of you amazing LNYDP fans will remember Francis. The LNYDP youngster who can do absolutely everything with a little extra flair and panache! Well Francis has been a busy bee, travelling all around Europe and helping LNYDP on the way! Francis has been in Rome and checking out all the best sites and attractions for you amazing participants of Rome and Frascati. In fact Francis has hand selected the best pictures of himself to send in for the blog this week and well, the sites really do look rather amazing!! lol! 

LNYDP is also looking forward to welcoming Francis back on a full time basis from the 1st November.

Family Tennis Tournament

Ok, so this is not technically LNYDP appropriate. However as I am an LNYDP employee, there is a certain relevance, albeit rather tenuous lol!!

I am delighted to report that Kate and I with a little help from Alfie, won the Maclean family tennis tournament for the second year in a row!! Kate dominated the net with some amazing volleying which thankfully saw us through, despite some very close competition, noticeably from Kate's Mum Jane!! A great day and another great victory for the Kate, Alfie and Joe team!! We even won a trophy!! I shared with Alf!!

LNYDP mascot Alfie, in the last week has taken a certain shine to the wonderful LNYDP supremo Lizzie's desk! Now not entirely sure Lizzie would be delighted to see this, but Alfie misses Lizzie so much that he keeps climbing onto her desk and sleeping!! It is rather odd but really rather cute! P.s. Just in case you read this Lizzie, I have wiped down the desk and it is as shiny as it has ever been!! Promise lol!! Alfie says hi lol!!
