Good Morning LNYDP magnifico fanlets!! What a day it is in LNYDP Mews Headquarters! Today is the amazing, incredible and talented LNYDP Lizzie's birthday! Yayyyy!! Happy Birthday to Lizzie, Happy Birthday to Lizzie, for she's a jolly good fellow and so say all of us! Last night the lovely LNYDP birthday girl, Jamie, Kate and I all went to Joe's Oriental Diner in Chelsea and what a night we had! The place is amazing, can not recommend it highly enough! The cocktails flowed and the food just kept coming!! What a way to start the birthday celebrations lol!!

Other than that, what a week it has been. Truly!! But today this blog is all about LNYDP Lizzie haha!! She is not going to be happy with me lol!!

It is official and boy what a Parade LNYDP 2016 is going to be! Seriously amazing fans, we now have DMC (Drummond Money-Coutts) confirmed and I can not even tell you how excited we all are at the LNYDP Mews Headquarters!! The Tricks/Illusions that DMC will be performing before and during the event will blow you away!! maybe even literally lol!!  I can not give to much away but I guarantee incredible moments will be made!! I am literally way tooo excited haha!! Like a kid in a sweet shop!! haha!!

The Annual LMA Trip

The annual LMA (London Mayors Trip) was another resounding success. Our wonderful LNYDP leader and hero Bob Bone was accompanied by the LNYDP birthday girl to Florence, Pisa and Sienna with an incredible 75 members of the amazing LMA. It was an incredible trip meeting the Mayors of the various Cities and taking in the awesome sights and sounds, not to mention the rather splendid Italian food haha!! Well let's be honest, the blog would not be the same without a cute Alfie picture lol!! So, as I aim to please you incredible LNYDP fanlets, see below haha!! It has been a good week for the Alfster! Although he is not a fan of early mornings we have all realised at LNYDP Mews Headquarters! So much so, that after being made to get up at 7am yesterday morning, he proceeded to sleep allllll day! Literally!! In fact when I took him for his evening walk, he lay down by the gate that we enter and exit from, giving me a not to subtle hint that really, he just wanted to go home and sleep lol!! You gotta love the gorgeous little fluff ball haha x

Good Morning LNYDP magnificent people! Today's blog is going to be short and sweet I am afraid! Sure that is probably good news right haha!! Well basically yesterday and today have not been good days for me and Alf, the sick bug finally caught us up and well we realised that we are not as invincible as originally thought lol!! So yes I have severe man flu and Alf has severe doggy flu, right pair we are!! lol!!

Working From Home

So as you guys can probably tell I have been banned from the LNYDP Mews Headquarters as no one wants to be infected with my man flu! Charming right lol!! Even my amazing girlfriend won't give me a kiss!! Of course though this does does not mean that work stops lol!! No No!! It simply means that Alf and I work from home and the photo below shows that that is exactly what we Alf and I are doing lol!! In truth it is just too cute a photo not to show! The funniest part was that he actually tried typing too.....albeit fairly unsuccessfully haha!!

The Plants are Alive! 

If you remember a while back I mentioned that the lovely LNYDP heroin Benita bought a gift of two lovely plants for the lovely LNYDP lady duo, Lizzie and Sara and I rather harshly gave those plants maybe 7 days to live? Well I have to eat my words.... the plants are still going more than strong lol!! Genuinely! Lovely LNYDP ladies I stand corrected and lunch is indeed on Alf and I next week! Damn it haha!! In fact to prove the Plants well being Sara took and sent this photo below! Yep, fair to say I have no excuses on this one, I was wrong lol!!

LNYDP and Zest Media 

I am delighted to announce that after many months of talks, Zest Media who run the finest printed press in London are going to be working exclusively with LNYDP this year. I am delighted to be working closely with Rollo at Zest Media and well frankly this is hugely exciting news for LNYDP and Zest Media. All those months of negotiating really did pay off!  The only thing I will say, is that Rollo might need to improve his tennis skills lol!! Joking Rollo! 

The Eclipse

Well I had to add this is as apparently it is huge news!! I have to confess I missed it as I was in the shower lol! But this is what the Major News Stations said and Sara and Malcolm assured me it was very impressive!!

Morning!! How are all you magnificent people. I can safely tell you lot that in the LNYDP Mews headquarters we are magnificent! The sun is once again shining and the weather is sweet! Alfie is a happy puppy sunbathing with his new super slick haircut and the LNYDP Mews is a happy place with full pods of peas and happy buzzing bees lol! Wow I really should be a poet haha!!

However there is a little discussion or should I say buzzing regarding the status of one of England's most famous and fabulous exports....Top Gear! Is it the end? Alf and I desperately hope not...in the words of the man himself, is there a better show....in the Worldddddd!!

Haircuts 

Ok, so there has been a little lively debate in the LNYDP Mews headquarters and everyone feels that as I frequently post pictures of them, it is only right that I occasionally post the odd picture of myself! So I have succumbed to office pressure today, after having my hair cut for the first time in 8 long months! I am pretty pleased with the new look, very rico suave I feel lol! Magician Impossible

Oh yes wonderful LNYDP Fans! Just to confuse you even further, there has been huge interest from another truly great TV magician and illusionist. In fact I have the honour of speaking with him today and hopefully getting him on board to perform in LNYDP 2016 for all you incredible fans! This guy is truly incredibly amazing and it just so happens he went to my Schools direct rival school lol! But we can't hold that against him haha! Any ideas who this celebrity Magician and Illusionist is? A quick clue, he has a show on the National Geographic channel and his favourite fan is none other than the 'Her Majesty the Queen Of England'. Quite a fan to have really!!

Now actually this section could never be big enough, as frankly you are all LNYDP Super Fans in my opinion! However this week I have had the pleasure of speaking with Danny Gonzales. Danny travelled with the Texas Longhorn Alumni Group and is this weeks super fan after sending in his best LNYDP parade snaps! Thank you Danny for your truly kind words about LNYDP and for the amazing pictures! Congratulations on being the Joe and Alfie LNYDP Super Fan! Morning Morning all your wonderful people! Today Alfie and I are full of beans or should that be peas lol! No seriously, I am on a health kick with Alf and I feel great. Every morning we both can't wait to get into LNYDP Mews Headquarters and get to work.At the moment I feel incredibly fortunate to be in the job that I am in, so does Alfie! lol I promise you amazing fanlets, there are some insanely exciting things happening this year! First on the Agenda this week is the excellent news that we are officially a full pod and Alf and I love it! The creative juices are flowing in LNYDP Mews Headquarters and there is a real buzz around the place, like bees in the summer making a lot of honey! In fact in around 30 minutes we have a full office meeting in LNYDP Mews Headquarters, so I better type faster lol! p.s. Any gossip that I hear in the meeting I will report straight to you guys next week! Promise!

The Lovely Ladies Re-United - Full Pod! 

We are finally a full pod of peas in the Destination Events Pod!! Yayyyy!! The lovely lady duo of Sara Marinoni and Lizzie Bone have once again be re-united and the LNYDP Mews Headquarters is a happy place! In fact, this week we had a visit from the gorgeous and talented Benita Wakefield,  who in a remarkable act of kindness decided to buy the duo of lovely ladies a present of a plant as a welcome back gift!  Now these lovely ladies are excellent in the office and have many a talent,  but being green fingered is not one of them lol!! 

Malcolm and I watched with horror as they tried to water the plants yesterday! It truly was painful but addictive watching lol!! However the plants are still alive for the third day and frankly that is better than predicted lol! Check out the snaps below of proof that the plants really are alive still lol!

Congratulations Sutton! What a Great Evening! 

Now as I have mentioned in previous blogs, I am fortunate enough on very rare occasions to be invited to the London Borough Awards Presentations and last night I was invited by Sutton to attend with my talented and sensational sister Lizzie Bone! Sutton had an absolutely amazing entry into the Parade and came in a fantastic sixth place out of 17 Boroughs. A fantastic community effort and it was amazing to be able to thank the participants of Sutton's 'High Ho High Ho it's off to work we go' entry properly! Well done Sutton from all at LNYDP and thank you so much for your incredible hospitality last night. I think its fair to say that I had rather a lot of your delicious sugared doughnuts lol!!

Another Magician Impossible??

Well, another week and another amazing act that might well be participating in LNYDP 2016! This is un-official and an off the record scoop, just for you amazing LNYDP fans! I am currently in talks with an insanely talented magician, who is about to have his second series on channel four in the UK. I also believe his first series aired in January this year in the US! He is truly a cross channel legend and a clue for all you amazing LNYDP fans is that he is younger than me!! lol!! Yes I know thats not hard these days haha!!

London Mayors' Association Trip

LNYDP is delighted to be organising the London Mayors' Association Trip to Florence, Pisa and Siena. It looks set to be a truly incredible and exclusive trip for an incredible bunch of past and present London Mayors'. On the trip they will be meeting with the Mayors' of Florence, Pisa and Siena, whilst enjoying magnifique food, multi bellissima and taking in the incredible sights that the Cities have to offer!

Yes that's right, my gorgeous girlfriend Kate is writing a series of Children's books called 'Alfie Adventures', based....you guessed it on the adventures of our very own handsome and talented LNYDP Mascot Alfie!! Good Morning all you magnificent LNYDP Fanlets. What a week it has been for the Alf and I! Not only did we go to a superb Borough presentation, but we also moved out of Alfie's first ever apartment, and the incredible LNYDP Lizzie returned from the Carribean! Alfie is very confused about the apartment moving, but also very excited, as he gets to stay with his grandma and grandpa!! That said he did a wee of excitement to greet his grandma this morning and that did not go down too well haha! Its a compliment I tried to explain to rather horrified expressions lol!! Uh Oh!! x

Bye Bye Alfie's first ever apartment!! That is a full car! 

P.s. I hope all you lovely fanlets remembered Valentines day last Saturday?? I was greeted by this beautiful heart mini pancake followed by the best breakfast ever! Hillingdon Borough Presentation

Wow, what an honor to be invited to such a superb presentation! Especially after having had the honour of attending the Ealing Borough Presentation. Hillingdon had an amazing entry into this years LNYDP  and came a brilliant third in the Borough entry competition, wining a Wopping £5,000 for the Mayors chosen charity! 

It was an amazing Oscar themed awards presentation with a red carpet walkway and everyone spoke brilliantly like they were accepting an Oscar, especially our very own leader and hero Bob Bone, who I have to say had the audience truly captivated, myself included!! 

It was another memorable evening hosted generously by Hillingdon and I can not wait to go next year should I be lucky enough to be invited back for the third year running to represent LNYDP! It was a truly amazing entry and hopefully you get a small taste of the quality of their entry from my awful pictures below! I think its safe to say you amazing LNYDP fans, that a professional photographer I am not lol!!  

A quick p.s. This is totally self indulgent for which I apologise profusely -  I bumped into my old English School teacher Martin Tyrell during the Hillingdon Presentation, whose son participated excellently in the Hillingdon entry. It was great to see Mr Tyrell, after at least 10 years and most recently, Mr Tyrell has been credited with teaching Benedict Cumberbatch his remarkable acting skills!! I asked if he could sprinkle the magic in my direction haha!

Wow, how much of a shambles have Alfie and I been recently!! We apologise most humbly to all you magnificent LNYDP fans. From now on, we will not miss a single blog! That is our promise to you splendiferous people! In truth I have really missed you guys although I am sure the feeling is not mutual lol!

Now it has been a little quieter the last week or so and I must say it has been much needed, as it allowed Alf and I to pop away for a few days to recuperate  and return back to LNYDP Mews headquarters full of beans...which we well and truly have! In fact as I type LNYDP hero and Mascot Alfie is sprinting up and down the stairs, much to amusement and bafflement of Malcolm and I!! Wish I could take a video lol! Instead you will have to settle for a picture of Alfie's new favourite pastime....barking at all Animals on TV!! Its honestly not annoying at all lol!!

LNYDP Merchandise!

This year has been the best LNYDP Merchandise year ever in terms of sales and quality of Merchandise...hopefully you incredible people agree!! The LNYDP Clothing range has fully sold out, bar a few remaining select size T-Shirts and the feedback (more importantly) has been utterly tremendous and truly overwhelming! I personally feel very proud of the quality, look and branding of the LNYDP Merchandise and truthfully I have you amazing fans to thank for that! It is your feedback, honestly and of course support  which has taken the LNYDP Merchandise to where it is today, so a huge thank you from Alf and I and all at LNYDP Mews Headquarters!

I must also give a huge thank you to my sales team who do a superb job on the Pop Up Shops and who I am sure many of you amazing fans will have met this year or will hopefully meet in the years to come. A massive thank you to Kate, Francis, Misha and Juno! You guys were amazing and lets get planning for next year lol!

Borough Presentations

This is a highlight for me as I very rarely get to be in front of the cameras and go to award presentations, but I was kindly invited to attend the Borough of Ealing's award presentation (in the absence of my amazing sister, Lizzie) for their excellent parade entry and I had an absolutely incredible evening. The company was magnificent and the Bhangra dancing was stunning, whilst the food, well the food was sublime and is making me salivate just thinking about it!! Most importantly of all however, was the money that the Bhangra dancers raised for their Mayors chosen charities by performing on the 1st of January in LNYDP. A great evening and I must thank the Borough of Ealing and Charisma restaurant for their superb hospitality!
I think I must have been on my best behaviour as the Borough Of Hillingdon have also extremely kindly invited me to attend their LNYDP Awards Reception! Its turning into an excellent couple of weeks!

The Alfie Section

Well I know that in truth you all put up with my ramblings to read about the incredibly handsome LNYDP Mascot Alfie and so I thought I would give you amazing LNYDP fans a little Alfie update!
Alfie has actually grown remarkably and frankly is a huge dog now haha! He has been helping around the office and has been just generally beyond cute and amazing! Of course that is a totally unbiased opinion haha! I really do love the little guy way too much!
In fact Alfie is moving back in with his grandma and grandpa in the next week and I know how excited he is to have a garden all to himself! Life is looking pretty amazing for Alfie at the moment, although his best doggy friend is not coming to the doggy park anymore as her human has gone travelling to Sri Lanka for three months! However Alfie does not seem to be shy in coming forward with regards to making new doggy friends lol!!
