The Conservatives have been elected for a further five years in a surprisingly one sided victory. Anyway that is the only political news that will be spoken of in this blog. We have far greater issues and news to discuss lol!

Designs are in and it looks insanely exciting. 35 foot high and brimming with bright colours, that is what our very own Magical LNYDP Lord Mayor balloon will look like and frankly it will look boom tastic! I am excited, are you? You know you are haha!!

NEW Event Participation Forms

The ever glamorous and magnificent Lizzie Bone has truly excelled herself yet again. (Its basically a daily occurrence) with designing a brand new and sensational Participation Entry Form. I know most of you will be thinking.....YAWN! But wait......check it out below, it not only looks super snazzy, but is all encompassing and reads like a J.K Rowling book! Overall I say very exciting and darn good work LNYDP stalwart Lizzie Bone! A huge step forward and a massive leap forward for LNYDP!

Haircut time! 

Having a gorgeous girlfriend means I now find that I have to take slightly better care of myself....Sadly that includes cutting out my staple doughnut a day lol! Alf is loving life at the moment! He is living with grandma and grandpa and has his very own garden! Not only that but he rules the Mews with a stern growl, albeit very rarely! Yep, I can exclusively reveal that we will be having Magical Transformer Robots in LNYDP 2016! Make sure you are in the crowd as they might pick you for audience participation lol!! These Robots are amazing and stand well over 15 ft in height. However I can confirm that we have some other very special Magical and well, tall guests at the Parade but they are a surprise! They are however good friends with Bumble and Optimus! and equally magical!! Hint Hint!!

Telenet Logistics

LNYDP are delighted to once again be partnering Telenet Logistics. Telenet will be the exclusive LNYDP Logistics provider. They are an amazing company and organisation and they love LNYDP! Terry the head of operations for the LNYDP, Paris, Rome and Madrid operations is truly incredible and has already booked out certain Airlines offering the best service, so that we can make sure all participants have no delays and are completely hassle free. We welcome back Telenet and Terry and hope to be working with them for many more years to come! P.s. Alfie is a huge fan of Terry, so we know he is a great guy!

Hello Hello!! Alf and I are backkkk!! Refreshed and better than ever, with believe it or not, a slight sun tan! Seriously lol!! I am still very much on Antiguan time though, this working malarkey is highly overrated I feel!!

Antigua Trip (Those with a jealous disposition, look away now haha)

Ok, so basically Antigua was amazing. TYruthfully I did not work for 10 days and had no stress other than deciding where we should go to eat for both lunch and dinner! Tough life!! A few fave's if any of you great people decide to visit Antigua, C and C wine bar in St John's is superb and Stella's is the best restaurant in the world, and without question one of the most romantic settings of all time! The fact they have a super cute puppy named Jack helps too! lol!!

Back to Work

So as you can see, Antigua was incredible, so as much as I love working for LNYDP and working in the glorious LNYDP Mews headquarters, it is not quite the same as relaxing on a beach and enjoying the Carribean sunshine! 

Plus it has been all stations go since I got back! Honestly, LNYDP 2016 is going to be mesmerisingly amazing! Trust me folks! So far I have had meetings with the jaw dropping DMC who is going to be doing some truly amazing tricks/illusions on January the 1st and prior to January the 1st. Annoyingly I can not tell you too much but keep your eyes peeled and keep reading, as trust me you do not want to miss what DMC and LNYDP have in store for you amazing fanlets!!

Clue! We had a meeting on the roof of the Corinthia Hotel where we host the LNYDP 2016 Launch! Where DMC and LNYDP planning something spectacular for that launch? Can DMC fly or walk on air..... I leave it all up to your imagination, for the minute anyway haha!!

LNYDP Custom 40 foot Balloon! 

So its officially in production folks! At LNYDP we are officially having our very own giant inflatable custom made for us! I am beyond excited having been involved in the planning! Don't forget we have another x4 giant magical balloons as well as our very own magical mayor, so look out for them on January 1st! Not like you can really miss them haha!! I'm thinking I might even hold one of the strings on Parade day with Alfie, what do you guys think?

Apple take-over at LNYDP Mews Headquarters!

Ok, the Apple revolution has started and as a technophobe I am stressing out! We have officially gone Apple in the LNYDP Mews headquarters and virtual keyboards! I love my old skool desktop, please don't take my old skool reliable technology away LNYDP lol!! They do look very pretty though lol!! Alfie is very confused by this state of affairs haha!

LNYDP Mascot Alfie is being crazy loving since he had his doggy vacation and we went off to Antigua! I have to admit I missed him badly, sad as that makes me sound! However he had a great doggy vacation and even went on a trip with all his dog mates to the English countryside, where he could really cut loose and stretch his legs. I'm telling you Alfie is super fast and I reckon could take any greyhound on for pace lol! He was most importantly a very happy Alfie on holiday and we got daily updates on his happiness which was actually really very nice!! Check out the super cute snaps below! I love this dude so much! Morning LNYDP magnificent people! I am very excited today as it is my last day in London for two whole weeks!! Yep that's right folks, I am off to Antigua with my gorgeous and long suffering gf Kate! But fear not, Alfie too is having a holiday and staying with his favourite groomer Julie and her 7 dogs lol!! Happy days all round! I will miss you guys though lol and I know the LNYDP Mews Headquarters will miss Alf and I really, even if they pretend they won't haha!!

Spring Break 

 

As you amazing and incredible LNYDP fanlets know, Destination Events not only organises the World famous LNYDP, but also many other events and programmes throughout the year! Currently Pinewood School Choir and Mission San Jose Marching Band are having a ball in Paris, Brussels and Maastrict, performing in the most iconic churches and cathedrals in the Cities and taking in the awe inspiring culture. All organised by Destination Events! A huge well done to Lizzie Bone and Ela Gurman for making this happen! LNYDP are very proud of you lovely ladies! LNYDP are also super proud and delighted of the two groups showcasing their talent in incredible settings whilst having an awesome time! Just YAYYYY all round really lol!!

Well a couple of weeks back I told you incredible LNYDP fanlets the great news regarding the arrival of giant balloons for LNYDP 2016. Well I can officially reveal it gets even better still lol! Not only do we have incredible themed magic giant balloons BUT we will have our very own Magical Mayor balloon! Standing at over 35 foot in height! Ok, so I know this is the most important section but honestly I am a little sad at the prospect of not seeing my handsome puppy for a whole 12 days! I am seriously going to miss my little guy! Sad I know lol!! But Alf has had a truly awesome week playing with his two bestis doggy friends (Archie and Bertie) my girlfriends parents gorgeous Westies and he is going to have another amazing 12 days playing with Julie's dogs at her groomers and at her house for a whole 12 days! Doggy paradise lol!!  It will be a mini vacation for the super hard working LNYDP official mascot Alf lol! I am really sad though, going to miss you Alf! x

Good Morning LNYDP magnifico fanlets!! What a day it is in LNYDP Mews Headquarters! Today is the amazing, incredible and talented LNYDP Lizzie's birthday! Yayyyy!! It is official and boy what a Parade LNYDP 2016 is going to be! Seriously amazing fans, we now have DMC (Drummond Money-Coutts) confirmed and I can not even tell you how excited we all are at the LNYDP Mews Headquarters!! The Tricks/Illusions that DMC will be performing before and during the event will blow you away!! maybe even literally lol!!  I can not give to much away but I guarantee incredible moments will be made!! I am literally way tooo excited haha!! Like a kid in a sweet shop!! haha!!

The Annual LMA Trip

The annual LMA (London Mayors Trip) was another resounding success. Our wonderful LNYDP leader and hero Bob Bone was accompanied by the LNYDP birthday girl to Florence, Pisa and Sienna with an incredible 75 members of the amazing LMA. It was an incredible trip meeting the Mayors of the various Cities and taking in the awesome sights and sounds, not to mention the rather splendid Italian food haha!! Although he is not a fan of early mornings we have all realised at LNYDP Mews Headquarters! So much so, that after being made to get up at 7am yesterday morning, he proceeded to sleep allllll day! Literally!! In fact when I took him for his evening walk, he lay down by the gate that we enter and exit from, giving me a not to subtle hint that really, he just wanted to go home and sleep lol!! Well basically yesterday and today have not been good days for me and Alf, the sick bug finally caught us up and well we realised that we are not as invincible as originally thought lol!! Working From Home

So as you guys can probably tell I have been banned from the LNYDP Mews Headquarters as no one wants to be infected with my man flu! Charming right lol!! Even my amazing girlfriend won't give me a kiss!! Of course though this does does not mean that work stops lol!! No No!! It simply means that Alf and I work from home and the photo below shows that that is exactly what we Alf and I are doing lol!! In truth it is just too cute a photo not to show! The funniest part was that he actually tried typing too.....albeit fairly unsuccessfully haha!!

The Plants are Alive! 

If you remember a while back I mentioned that the lovely LNYDP heroin Benita bought a gift of two lovely plants for the lovely LNYDP lady duo, Lizzie and Sara and I rather harshly gave those plants maybe 7 days to live? Well I have to eat my words.... the plants are still going more than strong lol!! Genuinely! Lovely LNYDP ladies I stand corrected and lunch is indeed on Alf and I next week! Damn it haha!! In fact to prove the Plants well being Sara took and sent this photo below! Yep, fair to say I have no excuses on this one, I was wrong lol!!

LNYDP and Zest Media 

I am delighted to announce that after many months of talks, Zest Media who run the finest printed press in London are going to be working exclusively with LNYDP this year. I am delighted to be working closely with Rollo at Zest Media and well frankly this is hugely exciting news for LNYDP and Zest Media. All those months of negotiating really did pay off!  The only thing I will say, is that Rollo might need to improve his tennis skills lol!! Joking Rollo! 

The Eclipse

Well I had to add this is as apparently it is huge news!! I have to confess I missed it as I was in the shower lol! But this is what the Major News Stations said and Sara and Malcolm assured me it was very impressive!!

Morning!! How are all you magnificent people. I can safely tell you lot that in the LNYDP Mews headquarters we are magnificent! The sun is once again shining and the weather is sweet! Alfie is a happy puppy sunbathing with his new super slick haircut and the LNYDP Mews is a happy place with full pods of peas and happy buzzing bees lol! Wow I really should be a poet haha!!

Magician Impossible

Oh yes wonderful LNYDP Fans! Just to confuse you even further, there has been huge interest from another truly great TV magician and illusionist. In fact I have the honour of speaking with him today and hopefully getting him on board to perform in LNYDP 2016 for all you incredible fans! This guy is truly incredibly amazing and it just so happens he went to my Schools direct rival school lol! But we can't hold that against him haha! Any ideas who this celebrity Magician and Illusionist is? A quick clue, he has a show on the National Geographic channel and his favourite fan is none other than the 'Her Majesty the Queen Of England'. Quite a fan to have really!!

Now actually this section could never be big enough, as frankly you are all LNYDP Super Fans in my opinion! However this week I have had the pleasure of speaking with Danny Gonzales. Danny travelled with the Texas Longhorn Alumni Group and is this weeks super fan after sending in his best LNYDP parade snaps! Thank you Danny for your truly kind words about LNYDP and for the amazing pictures! Congratulations on being the Joe and Alfie LNYDP Super Fan!
