Guys and Girls, LNYDP magnificent peeps, mad mad week and a super crazy day! I hate to disappoint, but today is going to be a super short and super sweet blog as I have to dash and take care of our very own Mayor balloon! Then this evening I have a very important tennis date with a potential major sponsor of LNYDP! #exciting#superduperbusy!!

I also managed to break my LNYDP phone this week, (happy days) so all my pictures are well..... void (for lack of a better word) this week....gutting lol!! I think it was karma for posting certain pics last week lol!! Ohhh well, normal service resumed for next week I promise!! Congratulations To our very own Terry!

Now a couple of weeks back, I introduced you all to our project manager for Telenet Global Logistics, Terry Ingram. Terry does a magnificent job - all things logistical and has become a great friend of mine and of LNYDP. It is therefore with great happiness that I can tell all you magnificent peeps, Terry got engaged this week to the lovely Kelly! All of us at LNYDP want to wish Terry and Kelly a huge congratulations! Amazing news and news that has put a smile on all our faces! #congratulations

Grande Meeting at LNYDP Mews Headquarters! 

Yes indeed, one of the reasons why this blog is frankly so much worse than its normally mighty high standards, (debateable I know haha) is that we had a Grande Meeting of epicness proportions this morning at LNYDP Mews headquarters! Everyone had ventured back from holidays, Illness or summer haziness and all had focused and channel their energy into a super productive, if a little stressful (for Alf and I) meeting! I think the picture below aptly sums up the professional element of this morning, at least for Alf and I lol!! p.s. What a Parade Launch we are having this year! However writing to you fantastic folk and being in the LNYDP Mews headquarters has certainly helped put a smile back on the faces of Alf and I! That and it's the weekend tomorrow!! Whoop whoop!!! So this week what has happened......

The Paris Parade Website

Now many of you magnificent people who read my blog (for which I apologise) know that because I do such an amazing logistical job for LNYDP, I also run logistic for Paris, Rome and Madrid. I was therefore incredibly honoured and fortunate to be invited to the Paris Site Inspection this year and I was blown away. It was truly amazing and the food none to shabby either lol!!! It will be a stunning Parade, those lucky Parisians hey!!

Now as I am sure you are all aware, whilst doing all things Logistical and Merchandisical, I am also proud and delighted to have been appointed Director Of Event Participation for LNYDP. I have always said that I am a man of many talents lol!! Modesty definitely not one of those talents .....lol !! Anyway I am delighted to announce that this week FAKI, the incredible Kimbanguist Brass Band will be performing along the streets of London in the fantastic and World Famous LNYDP!! Amazing to have you guys back and can not wait to watch you in action come January 1st! My gorgeous Girlfriends Birthday and LNYDP Lizzie's Wedding Anniversary

So as you have probably guessed from the sub heading above, July is a rather expensive month for me lol!! My gorgeous girlfriend and Alfie's stunning mum Kate had her 25th birthday this week and I swear she gets more gorgeous every year (If that's possible)! We had an amazing evening at the wonderful Kurobuta in Chelsea and I bought Kate the extremely romantic present of driving lessons!! #seriosuly lol!! A great evEning and hopefully an even better year to follow!

Now on the same day - July 20th, the magnificent LNYDP Lizzie had her wedding anniversary to my new bro Jamie! Massive congrats to my favourite couple in the Universe! Now I know they will not read the blog today as they are celebrating with a short trip to Majorca, so I hopefully will not get in to much trouble for putting up the below picture lol!! Goodbye Beard

Now there has been a vote in the LNYDP Mews Headquarters and the vote was embarrassingly the subject of my beard! Seriously!! lol!!Anyway the lovely folk of LNYDP have decided that the beard must go, so after today I shall bid it a fond farewell! As the title suggests, the delightful and youthful Lizzie Bone and Bob Bone (Our Leader and Hero) ventured to Madrid for a hugely successful Site Inspection this week. Amazing times were had by all and I have been sent a few snaps shots anonymously lol!! Most featuring the magnificent LNYDP little Lizzie!! She is not going to be happy with me haha!!

Alfie Watch

Ok, so another very busy week for our LNYDP mascot Alfie! This week Alfie has been made into a model for a very special cushion (Pictures to follow) and has been reunited with his one time doggie love - Mischa! It was very cute. They say absence makes the heart grow stronger and these two definitely missed each other!! First love and all that hey peeps! It has been 5 months though in fairness lol!! Good Morning Magnificent LNYDP peeps! Let me first start off with an unreserved apology. For those of you of the more eagle eyed nature, there was no blog last week. However for once this was not due to idleness or laziness by myself, it was genuinely because I was in Paris on Destination Events Logistic business! That's right folks, my legendary LNYDP Logistical prowess is extending beyond the shores of London haha!! But on a serious note, what a blog for you I have this week! Hot Paris

Now as I am sure you will all know, Destination Events not only organises the World's greatest event of its kind in London, the World famous LNYDP. But we also host the Paris Parade on New Years Day in....Paris lol! This year I was invited out to explain the Logistical side of things to our Groups and Participants in Paris. It went amazingly well and when I was there I was fortunate enough to join in and take in the sights, sounds and HEAT of Paris! 42 degress people!! What an amazing group of people and what a huge success the Paris Parade is going to be! I am going to bore you magnificent peeps with a selection of never before seen pictures of my French travels haha!! P.s. Destination Events is the first company EVER to be allowed to close off the World Famous Champs- Elysees in Paris to host a Parade! An amazing honour and what an achievement from our Leader and Hero! It is a real honour to be a small part in something so historic - But that;s enough smooshy sentiment haha!!

The LNYDP Mayor Balloon is made and has arrived in London!! It is AMAZING! Excuse my excitement but I truly am like a kid in a candy store! It is just sooo cool! Seriously!! LNYDP Alfie Update

So it has been quite a few weeks for the incredible and handsome LNYDP mascot Alfie! He has done a lot of travelling like his dad and has been staying with Kate's family in Ascot, our dog sitter in Oxfordshire and with my mum, (Alfie's Grandma) in Chiswick! Poor Alf is delighted to finally be back and settled in the LNYDP Mews headquarters, with all his favourite LNYDP people! The massive Veal Bone his grandma gave him helps too lol!!  In fact, as I type, he is luxuriating in the sun on the middle floor of the office, topping up his tan and catching up on a little well earned rest! Stop by and say hi to Alf and I if your in the W4 area wonderful peeps. There is always a coffee or tea waiting for you! x

Good Afternoon LNYDP fanlets and magnificent peeps, today is a great morning sunny and balmy but I feel rather sad as I am without Alfie!! I feel like I am missing my right arm, the Robin to my Batman for lack of a better analogy lol!! Plus he looked really sad with his handsome big brown eyes when I left him with his lovely dog sitter! That said, I know he will have a great time running in the fields with his dog friends and generally getting up to doggie mischief! I think I miss him more than he misses me in all honesty!!

Anyway enough pity, what a week it has been! Truly awesome! This week was LNYDP Site Inspection week and what a whirlwind of magnificence it has been....

LNYDP Site Inspection

Site Inspection has been superb and what an amazing group we have traveling to London for LNYDP 2016! We have had seminars, face to face meetings, hotel show arounds and Parade Walks. Tonight it culminates in a very merry Site Inspection finale dinner, where we will all no doubt let our hair down and enjoy! I can not wait, some great food, wine and even better company! I can not wait to welcome these awesome folk back to London in a few months with their super talented groups! I think the current saying goes....#superexcited lol!!

Now I think it only fair that I show you wonderful LNYDP peeps how we, the LNYDP team relax after working hard on Site Inspection lol! This is the unofficial LNYDP team diary off duty lol!! We work hard and play hard haha baby (Direct quote from my boss and legend Dean O)!! But in all seriousness, it is great to have all our team together in one place, be it from the States or Earlsfield!! At LNYDP we truly are one baby!! A huge personal thank you to the LNYDP team who have made this week happen and have allowed me to be a part of it!

Ascot Races! 

Kate and I ventured to Ascot for the races last weekend and what a great, if slightly wet time we had!! Thank you LNYDP for giving me half day Friday!!  I lof course lost every single race - typical!!! But my gorgeous and far more supremely talented girlfriend actually won a little money! LNYDP Giant Mayor Balloon

So good news on the massive, giant and well awesome balloon that LNYDP have commissioned! It is well under way! Today we received updates from the magnificent Next Generation Inflatables to inform us that all the hosing had arrived, as had the pipe work for the inflatable wand that the LNYDP Giant Mayor Balloon will be waving! Now in truth this does not mean a lot to me (Not being a balloon expert) lol!! However I am assured by balloon authorities that this is a great thing and means that all is progressing ahead of schedule! Yayyyy!! Happy days!! I promise more interesting pictures than the below to follow in the next blog lol!!

Flavie Departs! 

As you may or may not know, we have had the pleasure of having the incredibly talented Flavie on work experience here at  LNYDP Mews Headquarters for the last two weeks. Today is Flavie's final day and we are all very sad to see her go! However we have been assured that once she has finished school she will be heading back to the LNYDP Mews headquarters to help us once more. Now a brief word on Flavie, at only 16 years old, Flavie speaks fluently four languages and works like an absolute demon and is a true pleasure to have in the office! We all @LNYDP thank Flavie very very much and look forward to welcoming her back at the LNYDP Mews Headquarters in the future!

Tyler and The Audio Guided Walk Updates! 

We were delighted to welcome Tyler Butterworth into the LNYDP Mews Headquarters this week to discuss the updates for the Audio Guided Walks. Firstly the updated product is insane. It is truly amazing, genuinely! Secondly it is fantastic to see Tyler and have a catch up with a top top man! Check out the picture below with Lizzie, Malcolm and Tyler all deep in very important discussion. Fair to say Alf and I were not privy to the details of the meeting! We were merely lurking in the background taking pictures discreetly lol!!

LNYDP are also delighted to announce a new intern at our LNYDP Mews Headquarters. The lovely Flavie is helping us and is doing a great job! Hopefully in a couple of years Flavie will come back and help work on our ever expanding European Events as how many people speak 5 languages fluently lol!! I can barely speak one!!

Warehouse Clear Out

This morning and I mean morning (7am), our great and wonderful leader and hero accompanied me to our LNYDP warehouse and we did a huge clear out! When I say huge, I genuinely mean huge lol! Below are a couple of pictures just to prove how hard it was!!  We loaded those trolleys three times over, plus swept and did god knows what else lol! It was a proper workout, who needs the gym hey!! 

I had to pop home and shower before they would let me back in the LNYDP Mews headquarters!! Harsh right!! Alf meanwhile opted to stay at his grandmas house and have a doze....very wise I say in hindsight lol!!

Party At Casa Bone!

So last weekend, during the sunny blitz that descended upon London, LNYDP hero and leader got the BBQ out and invited all of family Bone around for a feast! Kate, Alfie and myself went round and what a great time was had! Grandma Bone was on amazing form and well the famous LNYDP Lizzie Bone revealed her incredible secret talent! Hula Hooping! Ask nicely and you might get to see a video of her in action haha!! An amazing day and well I just had to share the below pics with you amazing fans!

Youth Music Of The World (YMOTW) Folders Created

I decided to up our branding and took it upon myself as Director Of Merchandise to create a YMOTW A4 Zipped folder for all meetings and presentations and boy oh boy has it turned out a peach! Now if you see any LNYDP team member or participating Band Director, I guarantee they will have their branded YMOTW Folder on them! Swanky or what!! You know you want one really!!! p.s. Can you spot Alfie's water bowl in the pictures haha!!
