Good Morning wonderful LNYDP peeps! What a week it has been and excitingly it is Halloween tomorrow!! Mwahahahahaha!! I am seriously excited in fact so excited that I took a picture of my gorgeous girlfriend and Alfie's doggy mum proudly holding our freshly carved pumpkin, ready to be displayed in our window for all the trick or treaters! #exciting!!

LNYDP Lanyards Peeps!

Ok, this is insanely geeky and utterly not cool, however the Lanyards for LNYDP, Paris, Rome and Madrid arrived this week and they are seriously tasty! Yeaaaa boiii!!! Check out the below, super sly (in a good way) right lol!! Please bear in mind that I designed these and it was proper labour of love! For example, did you know that the pantone of the lanyard matches the exact pantone of each event's logo.... Seriously haha!! Positive feedback welcome lol!! Wristbands to follow next week LNYDP peeps and this year they are a little different and frankly more awesome!!

LNYDP Invitation Trip...Congratulations!

Well as I am sure you magnificent LNYDP peeps are aware, our leader and hero has been touring South America and the US inviting the creme de la creme (The best of the best) Marching Bands to participate in LNYDP! I have some amazing videos and pictures, however I thought I would share some of the more amusing ones with my favourite LNYDP peeps!!

Cornbread and Handsome Alf

As the title suggests, I always insist that our leader and hero returns to LNYDP Mews Headquarters with a suitcase full of corn bread for me and I was not disappointed this time lol!! I can safely say that my two favourite brands are Martha White and Jiffy!! In fact my lunch is calling me as I type lol!! Alfie is a huge fan too!! P.s. Alongside the cornbread is the standard LNYDP Mascot Alfie pic of the week! He has been such an awesome boy this week, dog dad could not be prouder!! lol P.s. think he likes living with grandma and grandpa and running in their garden lol!!

Welcome Warr's Harley Davidson

I am delighted to announce that Warr's Harley Davidson's (The oldest and largest Harley Davidson Dealership in Europe) will be participating in LNYDP 2016. They will be driving their 10 most exotic and gorgeous Harley's down the historic Parade Route come January 1st! This is definitely a sight you do not want to miss! I am more of a car man, however.... how magical is a proper Harley with a custom Matt Paint Job! That could even convert me to two wheel fun! The sound, the sight, the smell....just wow!! Ok, so our LNYDP warehouse is currently in the process of being revolutionised and guess who is revolutionising it lol! Yep thats right Mike and I!! haha!! The current warehouse is being stripped bare and it will be fully shelved and look rather like a miniature version of the Amazon Warehouse lol! Seriously though lol! I have to say yesterday was tough and last night I slept like a baby haha!! Check out our efforts below! LNYDP Alfie has a Halloween Jumper!!

Alfie's grandma has very kindly been looking after the LNYDP mascot Alf a lot this week as I have been a terrible absent dog dad! However Alfie has had the best week ever! He has even got a new favourite food....haddock fish!! I mean seriously!!! lol!!

Now as we all know, Grandma's like to spoil their granddogs right??? And well this week, Alfie was treated to his very own special Halloween jumper and to be honest it looks way too cute on him haha!! We took him out wearing it the other night and well words escape me, take a look at the pictures lol!!!! He is actually too cute, no wonder he gets away with being so naughty haha!!

The time has come and the planning has started! This year will be the bIggest and the best LNYDP Parade Launch EVER! I am not allowed to give too much away, however you guys know me lol!! Lets just say it will be truly magical! Think dry ice cocktails, magical canapes and oh sooo much more! There might also be rather an incredible performance from one of the World's greatest Celebrity Illusionists.... But my lips are sealed haha!! Put it this way, the LNYDP Prade Launch on December 10th is set to be a truly magical occasion NOT to be missed wonderful peeps!  P.s. below are a few hints as to what will be in the bespoke LNYDP Parade Launch goody box!

LNYDP welcome's back the Miniature Steamers

This makes me very happy! I am delighted to announce that the World Famous and super incredible Miniature Steamers will be back once more to participate in LNYDP 2016! These guys are awesome and are frankly a must see! Every year they blow me away and get better and better! I mean, how magical is a miniature steamer, honking its horn and bellowing smoke whilst trundling past London's most famous landmarks! It is simply amazing! My words do not do the Miniature Steamers justice, so have a little peek at the pics below...#WOW!!

LNYDP attends the Lord Mayor's Gala

LNYDP were delighted to host a table at the Lord Mayor's Gala dinner, in aid of the Sir Simon Milton Foundation. I have to say it was one incredible night and I even got properly dressed up for the occasion lol! Magnificent food, wine, silent auction and company! All in aid of a fantastic project. I am delighted to announce that over £200,000 was raised to make Westminster  a centre of opportunity and enterprise whilst looking after older residents and providing opportunity for the younger residents. . 

Check me out in my rather impressive whistle and flute below....Only disappointing part was that the handsome Alf had to stay at home with the dog sitter! Booo!! x

Good morning all you wonderful LNYDP peeps! Now for those eagle eyed fanlets amongst you, this is indeed being written and published today on Saturday! Official UK Test Inflation

Ok, so as I hinted above, the blog is being written today (Saturday) as yesterday was a seriously exciting day for Alf and I! It was the very first unveiling of LNYDP's very own, exclusively commissioned Magical Mayor Giant Inflatable Balloon and to be honest all I can say is....WOW!! It is a BIG BIG Balloon and pretty spectacular to boot! I was genuinely blown away (get it) and could not stop smiling. I mean, is there anything more magical than a giant inflatable balloon? 

Now, as you know, I got a new title earlier this year, 'Director Of Event Participation' and as such I got to do the TV interviews and Video Interviews at the unveiling and test inflation of LNYDP's Giant Mayor Balloon. It was seriously cool, I truly loved every minute of it haha! Watch out Matt Baker, here I come lol! Genuinely though check out the pics below....I mean natural talent or what haha!!

Hello Austin Seven!

As the title says lol! Welcome Austin Seven into LNYDP 2016! I am delighted to announce that eight (8) original and classic Austin Seven's will be driving the Parade route in magical fashion. These cars are truly exquisite. I was fortunate to view them in the flesh and well you guys can too now on January 1st in LNYDP 2016! In fact so awesome are these cars that they featured in a British national newspaper (This morning) about being one of the ten best British Cars ever built!Serious wow factor and frankly a must see peeps! They just don't make them like this anymore lol!

LNYDP Lizzie's Jamie had a Big Easy Birthday! 

Well now many of you wonderful LNYDP peeps will know Jamie, the wonderful LNYDP Lizzie's husband and my bro in law! This week he had his birthday and we decided to celebrate in Big and Bold dtyle at the one and only Big Easy in Chelsea! An amazing night and our LNYDP leader and Hero even declared the ribs were up there in his top 10 of all time! High praise indeed! Bill Northern, do not worry, yours are still top of the pile! lol! On a serious note, I ate so much I still cant eat anything more today haha!! Check out the size of the portions below! Yep that really was desert haha!!

Furniture Fun at LNYDP Mews

As you wonderful LNYDP peeps may or may not know, we have two new (In Mews) team members at LNYDP Mews Headquarters. The wonderful Mike mentioned last week and the spectacular Benita who many of you will already be familiar with and will have experienced her greatness! 

These awesome new additions mean new furniture - notably desks and thus I got my allen key out and did my DIY bit... and if I might add to a magnificent result (Check out the below)! Ok, computers are not yet in place but look at the beauty of these desks created with my very own bare hands! I am available to anyone who needs DIY work done at very reasonable rates lol!!

LNYDP welcomes Aston Martin into the Parade

Another announcement to make to you wonderful LNYDP peeps....Aston Martin will be taking part in LNYDP 2017. Following hot on the heels of Tesla, Aston Martin have decided to enter 8-10 sensational classic and modern Aston's into the parade. These will include the classic DB2,  the 1970 DBS, the 1980 V8 Vantage right through to the modern Aston Martin DBS and Aston Martin Vanquish. If you love cars then basically you will LOVE this entry!! As a petrolhead, I am literally way tooo excited right now!! #excited#january1st!!!

Alfie goes crazy! 

So Kate and I decided to take the handsome and amazing LNYDP Mascot Alfie to Chiswick Park yesterday. Now for those of you who don't know, we are trying to train Alf off the lead in more interesting venues! The first half an hour was great, lots of tail wagging, treats and happy dog faces.... however it then went downhill (literally).....oh dear lol!! Alf decided to do what no dog has done before and jump the 6 foot wall leading into the no dog zone area of the park. Of course the no dog zone did not apply to Alf who proceeded to run amok (albeit rather impressively) around the flower beds and through the greenhouse before I finally caught up with him! An experience to say the least lol!! He did however sleep very well!! Same again tonight lol!!

Good afternoon wonderful LNYDP peeps. Awesome week this end and the rugby World Cup starts tonight! Plus the sun is out...overall WINNING!! lol!! Such a great week here in LNYDP Mews headquarters. Tesla Time

LNYDP Motor man Mike has done a superb job working with Tesla and as a result, Tesla will be bringing their magical motors to life on the streets of London come January 1st! The latest Tesla vehicles will be showcased proudly and we can not wait in the Mews headquarters being the car enthusiasts that we are! Tesla will be bringing 10 brand new sensational motors, all in the colours of the Union Jack Flag to magically cruise down the streets of central London on January 1st! Seriously this parade just keeps on giving lol!!

Firstly let me introduce you all to our newest team member Mike! A top man and a true petrolhead! If you want to know anything about cars, Mike is your man. We are all delighted to have Mike on board as an LNYDP team member, securing the best motors to feature in the parade and trust me, this year we really do have the best motors both vintage and new featuring in LNYDP!

Ok, the team lunch....well yes it is possible that a few beers were drunk and the odd glass of wine or six haha, however a great lunch overall to congratulate Mike on his success this week and to basically say well done to all the amazing LNYDP team members for an amazing few weeks of work. P.s. NOt sure why we are all wearing blue shirts...including me taking the picture!! lol

LNYDP Treats

As you wonderful folk may or may not know, our wonderful LNYDP hero and leader is currently in the US watching some sensational High School and University Marching Bands perform. One magnificent group treated our LNYDP team to a lovely surprise on arrival, custom LNYDP handmade biscuits! A lovely gesture and one that I know gave our travelling LNYDP team huge smiles and happy tummies!! Next week I will share the name of this wonderful group for us all to appreciate! So stay tuned lol!!

LNYDP Interviews

Yes it is already that time. The finest hand selected Tour Assistants have been called in for one last time and are undergoing the final interview stage. The wonderful Lizzie is whittling the chosen few down to even fewer! A truly amazing bunch have stopped by Mews Headquarters all of whom are fantastic! It will be a shame to say goodbye to any of them for this year in truth! It's a tough job the wonderful LNYDP Lizzie has, but she is the best at it, so we all have every faith in her awesome judgement! Alfie has also given them all his very own special seal of approval and well, we all know that LNYDP Mascot is definitely the best judge of people! lol!!

TFL back on board!

Delighted to announce that TFL (Transport For London) are back on board both as an entry into LNYDP and as a partner of LNYDP promoting the wonderful LNYDP to all Londoners. Having been involved as a partner last year, TFL were delighted to come back again for a second year and we at LNYDP are delighted to have them back! This year they will have two 1950's classic open top routemaster Busses and over 50 Santander Bikes participating in LNYDP. All with a magical theme of course! Seriously peeps, this year LNYDP just keeps on getting better and better! I reckon it will be the best parade yet!

LNYDP Lizzie went up the shard! 

Well as the title suggest, LNYDP Lizzie went up the famous Shard in London yesterday in the name of research....Hmmmmm we believe her right folks haha!! Anyway that aside, check out the views on offer! I know that I might have to pop up the Shard myself and have a drink at their open top bar on the top floor...Could be worse ways to spend an evening right?? That said, it is not dog friendly so poor Alf can't come! I am going to go check it out and definitely recommend you amazing folks doing the same when in London!

Alfie Watch

It has been a tough week for LNYDP mascot Alf. Poor Alfie has had a tummy infection and has had a few sleepless nights, meaning so has his dad lol! However Alf is on the mend which is really great news. Alfie is definitely back to his handsome boisterous best lol! Thats for sure!! However he is still on the antibiotics for another 4 days, so he will continue to get thoroughly spoilt, with home cooked organic chicken and freshly boiled rice! He deserves it for being so brave!! Will keep you wonderful peeps updated x
